Awesome video, it’s interesting because I was looking over Varchild and I immediately got an idea for an aggressive politics deck with Varchild as commander. The main strategy centered around manipulating opponents into letting you damage them for the tokens and then at the last second sacrificing Varchild to call the tokens back and overwhelm the board.

hyped to see your interest in Kenrith! A card i'd like to suggest that I haven't seen in other poeple's builds yet is the goblin Rabble Rouser, you can pump him with kenrith and then for one red and a tap give "attacking creatures get +x+0 until end of turn equal to his power" . couple this with Kenrith's trample and haste and youve got some serious army negotiations haha i'm building him atm can't wait to try him!

I am making a commander cube. I was thinking of having Child of Alara as the commander, but I think it might make life tough for my friends who are pretty new players. I was thinking of swapping over to Kenrith... and I think you just convinced me. This could make for a really interesting game, with everyone running kenrith differently but able to be very political. This could be a lot of fun.

I just brewed this up for my weekly commander gathering and it was an absolute blast! No infinite Mana outlets but just Mana doublers like mirari's wake, zendikar resurgent, dictate of karametra and regal behemoth with a seedborn muse are awesome. I also managed to land a few wins with happily ever after, Queen Marchesa being my only red permanent in the deck, so I need a king and Queen on the board to win!

Sphinx of the guildpact is rainbow colored and planewide celebration has life gain proliferate regrowth and rainbow citizens. Both have excellent flavor with happily ever after.

If I'm not mistaken Xantcha just got oracle text so that she no longer comes back to her owners control when her controller loses. She now just enters the battlefield under the control of your opponent instead of having and etb effect change the control.

Oblation doesn’t work on commander unless they actually tuck it. The replacement effect of going back to the command zone cancels the card draw as a result.

How do you guys feel about keeping a Karthus in there for those dragon tribal decks? I see them pretty frequently and I think it’d be pretty funny to make a player who’s going way too ham your trump card. Or maybe just make someone irrelevant with an overwhelming splendor.

So quick note about the Kynaios and Tiro, the card was oracled to say that your opponents also get to put a land out if they have one to put out. So it’s a symmetrical effect for all players.

@@JumboCommander yes but it is a purposeful underutalization of this great cEDH commander. I often wonder why edh channels don't provide their audience with the actual best versions of commander decks but always go for under performing versions instead.

Commander wasn't made to be competitive, cEDH is a byproduct stablished by try-hards such as yourself. I like to think Commander is based on a social contract, not on the premise to create degenerate combos to play a hand of solitaire.

This deck has no theme. You say it’s politics but the synergy is terrible. I built a Kenrith deck using mostly all Throne of Eldraine cards and it wins. It’s getting old watching these deck techs. All these creators keep recycling the same cards to add into decks. Idk this Kenrith deck looks really Janky
