Seeing Sarah take charge of her own video segment was so cool. I have been thinking of a trip to Japan, so I’m glad she found ways to stay Keto.

Since dropping 25 pounds on Keto in early 2022, I've traveled extensively, including 2 trips to Europe this year. My goal is to maintain my weight without missing out on the local food experience. I've had bread, pasta, croissants, fruit, and even gelato. That doesn't mean I go overboard. I choose lean protein and vegetables whenever possible. I usually eat a big breakfast and either lunch or dinner, not both. I'm also doing a lot of walking .... the last trip totaled 100 miles in 3 weeks. But, regardless of the amount of walking, I returned from each trip weighing exactly what I weighed when I began.

That’s what I try to do. I only eat once a day and I minimise carbs, but I don’t miss out on local foods and I walk lots.

Run the lid under hot water to break the seal. It will be a lot easier to open hard to open jars.

2 things that usually works for me is either tapping the lid with the handle of a knife or running it under hot water. Hope you get to go on a trip soon!

To thicken your sauce, Emily, try using Great Lakes or other grass fed gelatin powder. I use it to thicken gravy.

OMG, I hope she had a great time!!! I spent a year in Japan and trying to be low carb was a challenge! It was a literal challenge cuz my U.S. Friends said it couldn't be done so for a month I tried to be low carb and I succeeded but all my Japanese friends were "worried" about me! LOL Izakayas are the best place to go with friends for a lot of variety.

Please try this: your Chaffee recipe but add all things onion like finely diced onion, onion powder, dried onion, onion dip mix, and something savory like Maggi, oyster sauce, and or black salt, etc.

I run the jar lid under the hot water and then tap around the edges of the lid with the butt of a knife. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 You know what is sooooooo yummy and crunchy? Bake or broil prosciutto so it crisps up. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I put it as the last topping on pizza.

I have three Comfys…four if you count the blanket 😬. I bought them all either BOGO half off, or on sale-that’s my justification anyway 😂. I have an original full-zip, a Dream, and a Dream long. And the blanket is 😌 dreamy. Yes, absolutely pun intended. I keep my thermostat at 62 right now (near Lake Ontario in NY) and will up it to 65 when snow starts flying. So, these are necessary for me. Again, with the justification 🙄 😊
