I’ve had a few times when someone was talking about me in Spanish. The worst being a hairdresser being racist about black women’s hair and being annoyed at having to do mine. I didn’t say anything as she was in the middle of doing my hair but when she was done I paid, grabbed my things and looked her in the eyes as she said goodbye and that my hair looked great and she hoped I liked it but I said nothing as I walked out giving her zero tip even though it’s customary.
