This might just be the busiest weekly vlog we've ever had! We started things off still down at our AirBnB in London (the London playlist is below if you missed that). We were home for less than 24 hours before Andy was off to respite and me and Anna hit the road again, this time to Cambridge for Anna's dissertation presentation at university. While we were in Cambridge we found a fantastic shop selling chocolates made in a factory that only employs autistic (again, there's a link to them down below. They're awesome). We had a long chat with them and they invited Andy to come and spend a few days doing some work experience in their factory, which we're going to try and set up for later in the year. No sooner were we home from Cambridge than we hit the road AGAIN, this time to Huntingdon for Anna's first post-uni job interview as a CCTV operator. Somewhere in amongst all that driving I got some work done too! What a week!

ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
I'm a 37 year old KZbinr from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process. I started this channel back in 2017 and by the time I left my full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July of that year, my partner Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator and always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my ongoing journey! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and The Chapman Family.

Good luck Anna. Great news about the factory really hope it works out for Andy. There is a place in York called Brunswick plant nurseries where people with learning disabilities can work to grow their own plants, doing crafts and cooking then they sell the produce and food and the money goes back into the organisation. I volunteered there for 5 years it's a fantastic place .

25:41 you should get Andy a bus pass from the council, they are free and are good because it means you can take the bus whenever you want without paying, they also work on the trams (as long as the tram is in your area)

u can get a disbility pass fore the trams in blackpool aswell i hav a disabled bus pass i can use it on any bus in any area in the UK

I know you get negative comments from the odd people but you do amazing the way you work around his needs and get him into certain routines, and how patient you are with him. The retial park is called Cambridge reatiled park and pretty much next to it is the beehive center which is also a shopping thing. The road is near Newmarket road (near where Cambridge United play) you can get buses and things into the grafton or lion yard.

I am glad You got everything Sorted regarding London, I hope You have booked the House again for Next Year, hopefully for a full Week so Andy has more time to Ride the Tube and Explore the Tower and St Pauls and Hampton Court, and other such Historic Places :) Take in Brooklands as well if You can! Yeah, that Happens with us, we end up taking more Food than Luggage with us on the way Back after a Holiday too! Yeah, the M25 is a Nightmare at Rush Hour, how does a 30 Mile Tailback Sound? I hope You and Anna had a great time in Cambridge, I am sorry that You ended up in the Slums however :( that Sucks. My Mum did Her Online University Dissertation in Chelmsford, I didn't like it there it was very Rough and Very Noisy, so I was rather Frightened Unfortunately. I cannot *Stand* Pancakes Personally I am afraid, I don't like the Texture :( I hope Andy had a good Time at Respite. It is the Job of t'other Half to Embarrass You any chance She gets Sir! that's Traditional! I will go 20 Miles out of My Way to avoid Underpasses like that Personally I am afraid, as I Really do not feel Safe going within 100 Yards of them! not in the Slightest... :( I never was a Student, so I cannot answer if a Place Looks Student-ish or not. Yeah, I think I have seen that Big Old Stone Building on some of the Videos where You have taken Andy to Cambridge before! Yeah, London costs a Fortune! Everything there seems to have a 200% Mark Up for some Reason! WOAH! What the Fuji? what an Awesome Company! I have Got to go Down to Cambridge it would seem in order to give them some Trade! what a Fantastic Idea that company Has by being "Spectrum Only" it about time a Company gave those of us on the Spectrum a Chance :) I hope Andy absolutely Loves His Job Experience at the Chocolate Factory! that is absolutely Awesome! Heck of a Good Spot Sir! Yup, it doesn't take much to Crank open every Single Flood-Valve on a Momma Bear's Waterworks... I hope You found a Nice Meal at Nando's. What "Normal" Adult *doesn't* Buy American Sweets when they Can? its just the Wrestling Figures that are a bit.. "Off" , but, as a Certain American Channel says "Normality is Over-Rated" so, just Roll how you want to Roll. Its only a "Video" Game on a Console, if its on a PC, then its a "Computer" Game, and, so long as the Port doesn't get completely Butchered, the "Computer" Version is often the best One so long as there is a Decent Rig smacking into it, even a Laptop if its "Gaming Optimized" Model! So long as I stick to 1080P there isn't much My Laptop (Secondary PC Gaming System) wont Max Out, and that's only a Mid-Spec (GTX 1060 6GB and a 6700HQ overclocked to 4.0 GHZ Per Core with 16GB of DDR4 SD-RAM at 2400HZ) Model, oh sure, there are Games it Struggles with, it will barely even *Boot* Metro 2033 or Last Light (the "Redux" Versions), let alone Exodus (now Exodus is *Finally* on Steam (I Personally *Refuse* to use the Epic Game Store) , I have the Trilogy and *all* the DLC too at long Last) , but "Metro" always was a Resource Hog, especially as I have the PhysX fully enabled! but, anything south of Metro and it will Max the Settings at a locked 60FPS on 1080P on 90% of My Collection, so "Portable" Computer Gaming is more than Do-Able! :) I always have to have a Bubble Bath when I have a Bath on Holiday! I am glad You got Everything You needed at the Big B&M. There used to be a Gigantic one in Cleveleys (north of Blackpool) as well but I don't know if it is there anymore as I have not been to the West Coast for over a Decade Now. 4AM? that is *insanely* Early... So I can see why Andy was getting Fed Up! I am afraid to Say I would be very Similar in My Response as well in that Situation. Sorry they Sprung that Unexpected Extra Element on Anna. That Sucks. So, what does Andy Prefer with Shoes, Velcro?, Laces?, or does He not care and just views all Shoes as the H'enemy? You have got to keep Your Promises. Anna is right, You Should have gone Church Spotting. How many Storms are we going to get.... :( I don't want to see any more Storms until 2021. Oh Dear, I am Sorry that Amy was Poorly on Friday :( I hope the She is feeling alright now. I Hope that Andy does really Well in and Really Enjoys the "Transport Independence" Lessons in School :) As Andy is Eligible for PIP, He is entitled to a Bus Pass! I suggest Applying for One and Saving Yourself some Money. Do the Life Skills Lessons actually Work by the Way?
