Kia EV9 US Recall SC326 - finally a fix for the blank drivers cluster issue

Have you heard anything about all these problems on the EV9 happening on the EV6 or on any Hyundai? Great video Brian. Thanks to keep us updated on EV problems.

Not heard of it happening on Facelift EU models but i need to do some digging.

My odometer just went blank after picking up my kids. Called Kia and the tool they use to do the update is working intermittently😮 said it could take over night. My speed doesn't show nor any sound while using the indicator. Very scary cause I'm not close to home and have to gauge my speed based on other drivers. I made an appointment for today so hopefully they can install the update.

Sorry to hear that. The recall TSB got re-released during the week with more instructions. Some have disconnected 12v battery for a few minutes and re-connected as a temporary fix. My new video from this week kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH7KiICnn5WWpa8

The shifter issue is also in Switzerland and Germany, i have it too..

It’s been solved in Canada now. Hope it was elsewhere.

Hi all We had our 2nd 12v battery fail today last one was 30th December 2022. RAC Replaced it then with an RAC branded Yuasa HD version, that failed today we came to use the car and it was flat, The car was 100% charged and has had all ICCU updates, including ICCU replacement with the 2024 updated version as per our customer request. On July 15th 2024. Yet for no reason what so ever 12V battery voltage dropped and no dash working or anything. To be fair RAC tested it and replaced with a brand new one under their warranty. However we are now worried as to why the car has killed 2 battery's in 2 yrs and 6 months when KIA says there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe coincidence. We were requested by Octopus energy 8 days ago to start intelligent charging again as its been turned off since the last batch of failures. I HOPE that's not the case.

Damn,sorry to hear that. Does it have all of the updates on for 12v draining issues though?. There was the wireless charging pad one,the LED headlight module. There were 2 separate ICCU updates.
