Princess was our first cruise and it was great. We took a second and solely because of actions by the purser, never again will we travel Princess! We had a polar opposite experience with RCL and have taken about 16 cruises with them. But I’m glad you had a great time.

I used to cry when we left Disneyland and my mom used to say "oh honey we'll be back, you don't even have to say goodbye. We'll come back" seeing little PC cry was cute. Little kids are so honest and vulnerable ❤ I hope he got to go on more cruises with you guys! Love your family

I work for Carnival (Princess Cruises is under the Carnival umbrella) as a reservationist.. I've been on about two dozen cruises on several cruise lines, including Disney. Disney is my favorite. Period. On your next cruise, take Disney out of Orlando for a week, then stay a week at a Walt Disney World resort. We've done that. If not a resort, then a Disney vacation condo (helps to reduce costs, because you can cook your own meals, such as breakfast and lunch) and not as expensive per night. Full disclosure: I also work for Walt Disney World as a reservationist.

I have never been on a cruise, and my husband has been on a dozen before we met. We booked the Dave Ramsey Cruise a year in advance (the whole ship sold out in 2 weeks, most of it in the first weekend). Like Kim, I had a list of reasons why I shouldn't have spent big money on a cruise, and I wouldn't have fun, and my poor husband spent the whole year talking me off the ledge (I wanted to give my ticket to someone else, or sit in my cabin for a week until it was over). Then a few days before the cruise, it was cancelled due to Covid 19. He was disappointed and I was ok with it. I would still rather fly to the Carribean and stay at a resort for a week. Since I still have never been on a cruise, I don't get the appeal. Unless it was a free gift. I would do that.

On board entertainment from musicals to comedy shows, shopping, room service and a few restaurants choices. You can eat at anytime day or night. Clubs or piano bar at night. If you have children you can split your time with family yet have adult time too. It’s so awesome just relaxing by the water, listening to the genial waves and looking up without lights all around. I’ve done both fly to the Caribbean and cruise. There are pros and cons to both. But girl, you have to try cruising at least twice. I say twice just in case your boat doesn’t have many amenities. ❤️

My fiancé/soon to be ex planned on taking me and my 2 daughters along with his daughter on a cruise. Well, he backed out on his offer to us and now only he and his daughter are going. I’m so bummed. I feel so bad for my kids. They haven’t been on vacation in years and I was really looking forward to having a nice family vacation finally. Needless to say my relationship with this man is on the fence. It’s just heartless. I don’t know any of you guys but I felt like sharing. They leave for there cruise in 3 weeks and the closer it gets the more upset I feel. I want my daughters to feel how Pen Charles felt. God bless

We were on this cruise filming the entertainer of the year content and I remember watching this show. It was very entertaining and you should've won Penn! The Mom of one of the other contestants was verbally unhappy that her daughter didn't win.

Aw, it was breaking my heart watching Penn Charles cry. I've never cruised because I've been too scared of #1: getting seasick (I feel sick swinging on a playground swing!) and #2: feeling claustrophobic. But seeing your video, hmmmm, maybe I should rethink things!

You are very rarely in your room and most of the rooms are hotel room sized (maybe a little smaller but not by much). I'd say if you can handle a hotel room, you'll be fine. Maybe opt for a room with a window at least, if not a balcony, in case it gets to be too much. A room without a porthole might feel a little more enclosed.

John B Awe. I've always wanted to take my kids on a cruise. I haven't been able to and now they're grown. But my hubby and I finally get to go on one this year.

For us we figured out the trick (by accident) of booking in December on the ship when they have buy 1 get one half off and kids sail free. It takes a $4,600 cruise down to $2,200. This is on Royal Caribbean. The cool part is as they are little kids sailing free they are racking up cruise points. Hopefully, when they turn 18 they will be at Diamond or higher and be able to pass that on to their kids. That's our long term goal.
