Good things are here… wishing you all the best…the divorce road is never easy but worth the journey.. wish I had the strength to
@johnurban733353 минут бұрын
Don’t fall into the trap of “I know exactly the kind of guy I want and how he has to be” because you’ll never find that. Women I knew that were divorced after 50 were always looking for the perfect partner. Only thing is they never looked at themselves, only what the other person did. Putting EVERYTHING in capital letters can be a scary thing. You might think you’re ready to “embrace change” but you need to take it slow and see who you’ll be after your divorce. Just starting divorce proceedings, you have a long way to go. It’s going to take longer than the year 2025. Take it from someone who went through it. It’s a long process to get to the person you think you are. You’ll be excited to meet new people but then some of them will let you down. You need to prepare yourself for all the highs and lows you’ll experience. I wish you all the best and hope you live a very happy, healthy, and fulfilling life

Perfect timing. 2025 is my “Year of No”…no to what no longer serves me and will not enhance my health and the support of my dreams. Became ill shortly before a trip to Germany, so I delayed it by two days. Now, here on vacation, I developed a tooth infection, but immediately saw a dentist and received medication. I turned down a side trip with my partner so that I could heal by extra sleep, lots of water, a visit to the local spa and, thanks to this video, setting a timer to write for 20 minutes each day. I have a half-written short story waiting to be completed. I love the characters and they are alive for me. Through my first visit to the spa, I started to see this short story as a television series. I started to see side stories coming off the main plot. Now it’s time to get all of this down on paper. I’ve always wanted to be a writer and I have limited myself to business communication instead of creative communication. This is my time! Thank you.

Because I’ve never been encouraged to follow my dreams and listened to the naysayers saying that what I want to do isn’t easy and can be costly, I’ve put off trying…. However, there is still a spark in me that wants to pursue my passion and I’m believing 2025 is the year I move forward. Thank you for your encouragement and advice!

It may help if you find a community (or even one person) who believes in, supports, and encourages you in your goals and dreams. Listen to them instead of the naysayers. Most importantly, you have to believe in yourself. I find saying a mantra when I feel doubt or discouraged helps. My mantra is: "I can do it. I will do it. I am doing it. I have done it." Stepping into an alter ego also helps. Good luck to you and don't let anyone limit you!

My problem is I like being who I am. But in the eyes of people I know, I should be doing and acting like they are. I enjoy the freedom to do what I want when I want. My structure is to have structure when I want it. I’ve watched many videos like this and have tried to do these things but then felt I wasn’t myself. I was structured all my working life but it’s the freedom of life that has made me the happiest I’ve ever been. Great video and I may try some of these things

Great message, and well stated. This is categorically true. When I take what I’ve read that follows this line of thinking with what I learned in my post graduate in neuroscience, I can say without question that “your brain will not let you be a liar”. What you believe is often hard to find because we cover it with what we trick ourselves with, but deep rooted beliefs overwhelmingly drive the bus. A great read is “ the new psycho-cybernetics” by Maxwell Maltz

My journey? Visualize the change. Every time I wake up, go to bed take a shower exercise, fall down, make a mistake, meet new people, I visualize my goals. When ..by myself I say it out loud when driving I’ll say it out loud. And fully expect it is a one year or even five year process. I am what I visualize myself to be and nothing is easy but, it’s like writing a book, put the first line down on 14:33 the page and then begin improving. Self hypnosis with out external validation.

This is inspiring. A lot of people are unwilling to change but I have always thought that if there is a better way, I will change. I need to get my weight in check so I will commit to drinking more water and seek out help. I don’t want to go the drug route so I will need to get my disciplined self back. This year is a year of change for me. My husband is in memory care and my goal is to downsize and move into a small space. I also had to put volunteering and belonging to clubs on hold. I will look into getting back into some actives.
