The KF MCU in Review intro song is so iconic and full of nostalgia at this point I got literal chills when it started up

I sometimes get confused when watching the actual Marvel stuff and the logo theme isn't quite the same, the KF one is so ingrained in my brain.

Hela originally showed up in an alley way because Odin was going to be found dying as a homeless person saying crazy things by a dumpster. They redid it to set up New Asguard

When you think about it this is one of the darkest movies in the MCU. First Odin dies, then Hela emerges and DESTROYS MJOLNIR, then she kills not just Thor’s oldest friends the Warriors Three but nearly the entire Asgardian Army, then she gouges out Thor’s eye, and to top it all off Asgard is destroyed!
@hannahb53132 жыл бұрын
Also they discussing the colonization and destruction Hela and Odin caused
@loganbigmo2 жыл бұрын
I guess people view 'dark' differently. The death of Odin, destruction of Mjolnir of Asgard, death of Warrior Three, gouging out Thor's eye.... none of that is 'dark subject matter' imo

@Dyswtric20012 жыл бұрын
I believe the reason why everyone, including myself, is looking forward to Thor: Love and Thunder are because it is the first movie that is continuing plot points from Thor Ragnarok to Avengers: Infinity Way and Avengers: Endgame. Every other storyline has "ended" since then.

as deliciously badass and malicious Blanchett's Hela is in the movie...I still feel, they kinda underused her..and could've given us MORE from that character, especially with Cate in the role. I feel she could've been a bit more serious and giving us a more dangerous aura. She just didn't feel DANGEROUS enough, despite all her actions. i guess, her portrayal, or the way she was written just lacked WEIGHT to it.

Ragnarok is still in my top 5, such a fantastic movie. And shout out to Cate Blanchett as Hela. I fucking love her in the role. My biggest qualm with it is that Loki never seems to know what to do with his hands. Go back and look at the scenes he is in and he's always letting his arms just kind of hang there and it's so awkward. He needs a weapon to hold on to or something lol.

Most rewatch-able MCU movie?
@CastleChris922 жыл бұрын
Honestly, No Way Home is way to high on this list. It's a good movie. It's great in some parts, but it does not hold up nearly as high on a rewatch as the other 2 Spider-Man movies, Ragnarok, or Civil War
@CrossOutBryce2 жыл бұрын
The fact that you put it below Far from Home though is MIND-BLOWING. Aside from the Mysterio fights, that movie is a bottom tier MCU movie.
@CastleChris922 жыл бұрын
@@CrossOutBryce I'll admit it has some low points like the weird as hell bus scene with the drones, but I think it holds up more. No Way Home is build around nostalgia. Don't get me wrong, it's cool to see the 3 generations of Spider-Men fighting together, but other than that, there isn't much exciting that happens. I saw it twice in theaters and the second time around, knowing all the cool stuff, I wasn't nearly as hyped for seeing it
