It feels to me like Joe is just pushing all his work onto Del while taking the credit for it. Even the Angry Review for metal gear survive felt lazy and like they did not finish the game themselves. Every single bit of their footage of MGS used in the review was ripped straight from the stream of them playing it just ONCE, with the only exemption being the parts they included where Del was playing. It seems like they are just doing their single stream of the game, making Del do the actual work of playing through the game , and then play dress-up for the production of the review while just using what Del says about it. If that is really the case then screw Joe, just give the channel to Del if he is doing 90% of the work.

The fact that you become almost invincible hile wearing plate armour is a realistic point in the game. Swords are almost useless against plate, you have to halfsword and stab at the gaps, or use warhammers, maces or poleaxes. It wasn-t easy taking down a knight on the battlefield, plate armor even stopped early guns.

I think Kingdom Come:Deliverance might end up like Witcher 1 - a decent game that's a looong way from perfect, but draws attention to developer, allows devs to draw lessons from their mistakes and create a wonderful sequel/next game of similar conventiom.

I'm currently about 20 hours in and it's one of the most entertaining and immersive games I've played in a while. Yes, the combat AI has to be improved and bugs have to be patched but for an indie-studio taking on this scope of a project (oh, the historical accuracy, it's amazing) I rate it at least an 8/10. I got a LOT of bugs, but once I found 1 in particular, that was gamebreaking, and couldnt continue the mainquest, I posted on the forum of the developer, and they made a hotfix in a matter of HOURS.

I spent like 800 hrs on hw1...i loved it. HW2 came out it wasn't bad.. I bought the season pass and considered it worth the 90 bucks because i get all updates and the studio is smaller...im with it. But then they release a 2nd expansion for another 25 bucks?!? I know i shoulda realized it's a SEaSON PAsS! But It was my first time getting one.....never in my wildest dreams did I think gamers would support this level of greed. Ur telling me that game is a 115 dollars plus tax? Im fucking done. Role play seems to be doing fine but i don't like it. Everything else seems like a steaming pile of shit. Some of the 1 dimensional games are fun, but i could get something similar on steam/pc for either free or under 25(i usually buy cosmetic crates just as a tip in the hat) These new AAA are fucking dogshit. Studios are done trying to improve anything other than graphics. Halo 1-2 you can see them trying to better it..more guns, weps, vehicles. Then they drop fucking forge..shit so fun it's almost a 2nd game for free. World at war dropped nazi zombies- again so fun almost a 2nd game, then black ops improved on it. Modern warfare 2 peaked Cod's non ww2 games. And I never thought you could ruin such a beautiful game like battlefront. All these devs are shit outa ideas....I get it it's hard to be creative. But for fuck sake you can't cut content from the prior games and call it a sequel I would buy a remastered BF 2...or they have that shit come out months later because it wasn't finished. Or charge me hundreds of dollars for unlocks cosmetic or not. If halo 3 came out today the katana would be earned through 3.99 loot boxes for a 1-100 chance or 5.99 sparkle boxes for 1-25 chance Steam master race

I highly disagree that after getting plate armor that the combat becomes trivial. The pieces of video that we get are of Henry (in plate armor and a high level sword) vs. 2 bandits (poorly geared). During the one of the story quests I had to fight 4-5 decently geared bandits that took me about 5 tries and I had a full plate armor set. It also would've been nice if you touched on the fact that this isn't a triple A title game. This is Warhorse Studios first game so yes there will be bugs but at least the developers are fixing them. I'm in agreement with everyone else that Joe should've reviewed Kingdom Come Deliverance. Instead we got a Metal Gear Survive review.

@Troll Trollsen I'm assuming you've played the game. What you're seeing there is a common problem with any game with 'mass combat' and complex AI, if you've played Mount and blade for example or even Skyrim you've experienced this. Del waited for the two rivaling groups of AI to fight each other and ran around the back to pick off one enemy at a time. Only the AI he's hitting is turning around to fight him because the other's are prioritizing the large group of enemies in front of them. This example doesn't really prove your point, he's still fighting 1 at a time and he's not taking any hits. Having played the game I agree you're invincible in plate armour as long as you're not getting hit often. However I have died a number of times in full armour to peasant ambushes, guys with rakes and shit. This is because in Kingdom Come will hit you if you're not locked on and even if they're out of your vision like behind you. Groups of enemies also intentionally flank you and they're pretty aggressive. Cumulative hits quickly and easily kill you in plate armour.

I did view it, I literally explained what's happening. I own the game, nothing in this video 'hurts' me. I have a solid idea of how it works from actual hands on experience. I've had dramatically worse issues than enemies simply focusing on my allies more than me while in combat, especially before all of the patches which seemed to have fixed the vast majority of the serious issues I've had.

A lie of an opinion. First off what set me off was the opinion he said realism with a grain of salt. Okay so to you know how strong plate armor was back in the 15th century? Then you would know that manuscripts would say that knights were basically like walking tanks. Most weapons of the time were ineffective against fully geared up knights and were usually pretty cheaply made. Secondly glitches. Skyrim 58 million dollars, Kingdom Come 5 million dollars same amount of bugs. You do the math yet one gets a 10 out of 10 while the other which innovated survival games yet again gets a 6 out of 10. I certainly don't think the developer was a 'racist' for not including people of color in this game. I dunno. With a game like this, I actually prefer to hear what Del has to say. I'll be honest - not too big a fan of the expanded AngryJoe channel generally, but Del seems like a solid addition to the team. He covered everything that needed to be covered for this game and honestly - there doesnt seem to be a lot more that needs to be said. What works best for AJ is the over-the-top approach he does for projects he likes. KC:D probably isnt that bright on his radar in favour of other games, so this brief bit of attention seems like the perfect middle ground (something that this channel generally has severe trouble with).

Late game most rpgs sorta crap out, compare that to skyrim where it craps out the moment you’re bored of the same stupid poorly thought out missions. No storyline in skyrim is as good as even kingdom comes most basic missions. Almost every quest in skyrim is like a radiant quest, fetch this kill this etc your actions have no impact. i think 7 could be reasonable without the BUGS but i agree, if they waited another year or two and REALLY put more love into this game it would have been great, instead we get a bunch of halfass quests and combat that becomes all too easy once you get the training (which is EASY AS HELL to accomplish, "Hey captain, show my peasant ass how to slow down time") also the appearance "effect?" is cool on paper but pretty fucking unnecessary once you realize how shallow the dialogue is in this game, being able to talk your way out of guard is pretty bullshit "Nah i stabbed that dude cause im on a secret quest" "Oh ok bye"

Really would like to see Joe go through this game after the patches/DLC were added and give the full review it deserves. I just finished my playthrough and was floored at how good it was. It's reminiscent of my first time playing elder scrolls 3 way back in the day. But make no mistake, it's it's own thing. Very unique game. Very well done RPG and they pulled it off (made it interesting the whole playthrough) without dragons and orcs which is impressive.

I’ve completed the game and half of what he is saying is true. Yes the game is buggy as well and I played this on a high end PC with the GTX1080. The first half was fantastic hardly any bugs after about 11 hour gameplay. Then the cinematic scenes started to loose FPS, characters heads weren’t showing until after a few seconds, no one was riding horses etc.. it felt like what he said the game was half polished and they rushed it probably due to pressure from there investors to get the game out and make profits. Despite all its bugs etc the combat, the realism and the story telling made the game make me wanna play despite all the bugs and FPS dropping half way through the game. You can’t knock this game as this was created by Warhorse Studio and they’re a brand new studio and this is their first game. For saying it’s their first game it’s a brilliant job and makes me think if they can produce this game with brilliant stories, realism combat etc.. then I’m looking forward for them to make more games because despite its flaws, this is an amazing game compare to your big competitors like Bethesda and CD projekt. So my hats off to Warhorse for producing this game and I can’t wait for them to bring another game when they improve on feedback etc! Stop knocking them down, the gaming community can be so toxic sometimes and it makes me not wanna look at reviews no more to be honest.

Why exactly is a RFR "so disrespectful". You should stop being a fanboy, it isn't healthy. Why should the game be respected as it is some kind of person? Maybe the game is made in such a way that a full review just isn't possible for a full review. It takes literally hours to get somewhere and when you do most revenue from it will most likely be gone. Just look at Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation. He made a review but he most likely do not have the time to actually play the game long enough for Henry to be good at swinging a sword. Yahtzee had to go around finding the peaceful solution to everything as he needed to see the plot for the review, but when he is forced to fight Runt he simply wasn't good enough so he got stuck and can't continue. Isn't getting a review at all better then none? Remember what they do is a job, they have timetables and deadlines. I work with computers and got SLA agreements. That means that if I do not do my job those orders I work with will expire in 6 days. That means we can be fined if I do not deliver after 6 days. AJS do not have those rules, but you can just not push shit out and make it have quality. Also a 6/10 isn't ridiculous. I set this game as a 7/10 and I got 114 hours so far. That is without considering the bugs. Things are way to tedious, to much grind, combat is lackluster as easy enemies will die when you sneeze on them while harder enemies can perfect block your attacks no matter what. I can rob someone blind walk into the owner in their living room, leave the home and no one will report any theft to the guards at all. They will never stop and search me and everyone will greet me and know my name, even the people I robbed.

Okay I'm not sure the game deserved a 6/10. It's a very good game and worth the buy. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is compelling, the animations are great, the dialogue is engaging, and the immersion is positively superb. I haven't felt like this about a game since I played Elder Scrolls: Oblivion for the first time. I love games that reward you for everything you do. Running gives you vitality, riding a horse improves horsemanship, blocking gives you defense: these are all things that genuinely make you feel like you aren't wasting time. Despite the bugs and broken mechanics of early release, most issues were resolved with the newest patch. Honestly, did people forget the Skyrim and Oblivion bugs upon release? Any ambitious game is bound to have bugs. I'd rate this game an easy 9.5/10 with a Badass Seal of Approval. Must own. I'd give it a 10 if it wasn't for the bugs. Try out this game. You won't be disappointed.

last year I finished it, for me, its absolutely solid 9.5, I played this after major bugs fixed, how lucky I was. My tip is, dont try to play this game as a video game, play this game as you were Henry of Skalitz. The foliage graphics in this game is the best ive ever seen, Sometimes I just literally riding my horse and watching the sunrise, enjoying how the lights and trees met,makes the trip to another city doesn't really tedious. Fyi, I've never finished the witcher 3 because its so tedious (in my humble opinion) , but man o man, KCD is on different level. and now I'm trying to finish this game again..

It’s a good game with its bugginess blown way out of proportion. Don’t get me wrong, it would have been nice if it had released with greater polish, but that’s not always possible when budget is an issue. Especially when it can’t be patched later. Nevertheless, the game does deserve some criticism for its flaws, but given that those flaws are no worse than what could be found in Skyrim at launch, I hope the Critics hold Bethesda to the same standard when TES VI launches.

It's not whether they exist, it's how people react to them. Most of us understand it's a small company who will need the sales capital to essentially finish the game, other's are holding it to the flame because it isn't perfect when put up to AAA standards. Many games have launched from AAA devs that had retarded amounts of glitches at launch including Elder Scrolls (Backwards flying dragons) and The Witcher 3 (or The Glitcher 3 as I call it) which go on to win best game of the year awards and praise from the fans.

Just been playing the 1.5 release. Love it. The vast majority of problems in the game have disappeared, running a mid-teir rig. Do experience some asset-loading lag, but given that I'm aware I'm playing a game, not a super-accurate sim, I'm ok waiting the 3 or so seconds for the assets to come in (medium graphics... which are pretty great.) Issues have since disappeared after adding some Ram. Recommend no less than 16GB for a smooth playthrough. I'm rating this a solid 8/10 as I've currently played a good 150 hours on steam so far and I've been really impressed with the world, the volume of details, the ability to really do what you want to, and a great story and well developed characters that you want to see succeed or fail on merits. I'm putting it out there that this has the potential to become something rivaling the Witcher series if the devs go all out on KCD 2 and release a really functional bug-free game. As much as it hurts me to say it.... if that means it comes out in 2022 or later, so be it. This deserves to be played a lot by everyone.

Pretty good game, did everything it advertised. I think a lot of the criticism is due to people being unaware of what theyre stepping into, the long prologue where you dont learn full combat mechanics of the game until finishing (hence leading people to claim the initial combat to be clunky and very hard), and the down right awful amount of bugs and glitches. I finished the main story in about 40 hours and my main issue was performance despite having a high powered rig. Hopefully the issues that plagued me will be patched in the coming months for newcomers though.

I found the way to let your pc run it better was to go into Task Manager>Details>scroll down to Kingdom come> Right Click> set priority> Set to High, really let my pc run it easier, this thing is a hog lol also even with the issues this game is an easy 8/10
