Had to give you a shout out and a HUGE THANKS! I was online looking for disinfectant spray guns to sanitize large areas for COVID disinfectant and noticed some of them were just regular spray bottles and remember looking at this video and you demonstrating the spray gun. Then realized I could do that with my Kirby. I just need to find the right solution and then came across the Kirby Official KZbin site and found out they have a solution for just that. So now (for me that is), I have one more item in my arsenal in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 for disinfecting rooms. Great videos and thanks again... all the way from Louisiana.

I try using my g6 to its fullest. I've actually have vacuumed my carpet then dusted with the hose and then went outside to continue painting my house with the spray gun in one day back in November so its seen almost all its features used in one use

Turn the button trigger left or turn guy , one way will reduce the foam the other way will open the valve more producing continuse foam . Hope this helps

Hi! Thanks for your videos, they’re very helpful. I used a sentria II on a 15 year old frat house black suede couch. It’s going on 14 hours and it’s still not completely dry. It’s a warm house. Do you have any suggestions? Blow dryer? Also, how often should I dry clean it? It’s the first time it’s being cleaned 🧹 😅

Your so welcome . Depends on how warm your house is . It was around 24 c in my house and took around 3 hours to be completely dry . Winter time I’d normally do late afternoon so it has nighttime to dry. I clean mine once a year if it needs it . As Kirby shampoo has Kirby guard in it . Also Iscotch guard coat mine after a shsmpoo and vacuum. To protect against spills . Hope this helps . Thanks so much for supporting my channel really appreciated. 👍 🛎

I've had my Kirby for years but just pulled it back out for shampooing my carpet. I decided to try the upholstery cleaner but mine doesn't spray or foam unless i have the canister and spray handle almost pointing directly down (almost upside down) so that the water goes into lid to come out of the foamer or sprayer. Nothing comes out if I hold it horizontal at all. Also it's not a smooth flow, it's more like it splatters the foam everywhere. I thought maybe the container was supposed to have a straw to suck the liquid up but there isn't one. Any advice? I'm in the USA, Texas specifically.

The upholstery tool that comes with the avalir 2 does a great job . Just lacks agitation. But I think used daily it will keep ontop of imbedded dirt and sand

gerald bosch yeh it is Kirby started making bags thinner , I think it was because of their HEPA Filtration bags, also it would make more air flow as less restrictive.

You can use it to spray on glass and then use a glass rubber to clean off dirt and residue . I’ve used it to apply citrus cleaning solution to alloy wheels and that worked really well at spraying in all nooks and crannies 👍🔔

Yes , as the shampoo absorbs the dirt as it dries , then you vacuum off

You want to Vacuum first to get all of the dirt off and then shampoo. If you feel like Vacuuming afterwards, go for it!

Yes once foam has dried , reattach hose to fan side with bag attached. Then vacuum of with upholstery tool or zip brush if you have one . Hope this helps 👍👍

I love the Kirby's but not a big fan of this sofa shampoo system, if you have to wipe and scrub it all in you might as well use cleaning solution in a spray bottle and scrub and clean the old traditional way.

You put your left Knee at the side of the back wheel . That may make it easier to twist if that makes sense 👍👍

Its a dry foam , putting water on carpets and material only shrinks or stretches fibres. So would rather use a product I've used for over 25 yrs with no issues or damage

No Kirby vacuums are dry clean only the cleaning solution is 90% foam and 10% water , if you try to suck up water with the Kirby you will blow it up. You have to wait for the foam to dry and absorb the soil in the carpet or furniture before you vacuum off.

Considering my grandfather spent $1,200 for this vaccum 💀 - Unfortunately it can't do that :/ & the fact that you have to buy filters everytime the bag is HALF WAY full ("Full" in kirby lingo) ☠☠☠

the best I think you are hinting at a Rainbow, I love Rainbow vacuums but the Kirby really pulls deep in dirt out of the carpet and the dry foam is really effective. I can use my Rainbow wet shampoo but it is much harder work and takes days to dry

@@thebest-dg4pv Buy a used Kirby, I inherited mine from my grandma. Then I looked it up they are around $200 for the ones in good shape and attachments. (mine is 30+ years old) At least that would be my suggestion.

@@KirbyEnthusiast is there one that shows the whole vacuum? I am struggling with my new Kirby because videos and even the owners manual don’t show the whole set up for different uses. I want to and need to shampoo my stairs. There are so many attachments and no videos that show step by step with the entire vacuum in view.
