The most understandable left-handed kitchener bind-off, at least for me. Now to practice until this becomes part of my skill set through memory - wish me luck.

My cat loves listening to your videos, period. But this one had birds - and let me tell you - it was a smashing hit.

This is the most helpful video for left-handed kitchener stitch I have seen- in fact, for any explanation of kitchener/grafting. Thank you!

You are my go to when it come to left handed knitting!! But I am confused: is the set up technically step #1? You jumped from #1 to #3 or am I missing something? Also, in step #3 you said drop stitch off, but the instructions say leave it on. Help?

Bill, do you have a video that starts at the beginning?
@YarnCrafts4lefties3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jayne. Please pardon me if my question sounds obtuse. It's 5 a.m. and I haven't had coffee yet. I just reviewed the video and it started from the beginning for me. Do you mean from the beginning as in without and stitches worked?
@jayne2573 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what I mean. I'm making a cardigan and I thought there were two pieces, but it turns out it's one big piece so now I have to graft them together. I'm not sure how to start...

5am??? Isn't it still dark???
@YarnCrafts4lefties3 жыл бұрын
lol there was just a hint of light which is what woke me up. You said the cardigan is one big piece. Are these the shoulders you're looking to kitchener and do the instructions advise a kitchener or something else? Also, depending on the instructions kitchener starts as this video shows or it can start a little differently then move into the stitch order shown here. Either way this video will work :-).

@@YarnCrafts4lefties the cardigan is not a pattern. I made it up from one I bought years ago. It's a cascade cardi and at first I thought the edges were grafted onto the main body, which is a rectangle with slits where I'll sew in the sleeves. As it turns out, the part I thought was a join was actually a row of k1 yo followed by a row of purl 2tog... so now I have 2 trims and a main body that I have to make into one piece... (and you thought you were confused before!!) 🙂
