I got one of these recently. Same color. I tried lots of jackets on in the store and this one just stood out from the rest. The airflow is superb. As I live in the UK I won't get to use it as much as you, but I'm very happy with it. I can always layer up for cooler days.
@MRMRS2wheeler2 жыл бұрын
They really are great. Protection + airflow, it justifies the price. And yes, you can layer it up. I rode with a mesh jacket in 34 degrees Fahrenheit (I believe 1 celcius) for over an hours commute each way. It wasn't ideal, but it worked. Thanks for the comment & ride safe.

I wear an Aerostich 1 piece year round, I’m a 4 season rider in SC. I just ordered the Klim SE Induction, hope it lives up to the hype. Love the vids by the way, very informative.

Thank you, glad you enjoy the vids. I too wore an aerostich roadcrafter year round before switching to Klim. But, I was annoyed every time we stopped for gas, food, or just sightseeing. It was a pain to to open/remove the suit when I wanted to cool off, or use the restroom, or just go into a restaurant to eat. I like the fact that I can now remove just the jacket and wear the pants when I want, but I do miss the convenience of the stich. Each have their pros and cons, but having seperate pieces offer more flexibility, and this mesh jacket is SOOOO much cooler when ridiing. Thanks for the comment. Ride safe.

If you get this jacket or any jacket it is highly recommended that you buy quality armor. THE Klim has good armor but at MIN you need a quality back protection. If you can't tey iymt on it fits true to size if your a medium get a medium should have no issue. When you get it AT LEAST BUY A QUALITY BACK PROTECTION 😀 Ride fast Ride Safe.

My big problem with this jacket is the sizing. I’m 5’9 180 lbs with a 42 inch chest and a 32 inch waist. My inseam is 32. The medium seems to be great for everything but my chest and shoulders but the large seems like it would be way too baggy around my torso. I wish they made a size in between. Do you think the medium would be too small?
@MRMRS2wheeler3 жыл бұрын
Hey John, we are very close in measurements, I'm 5'8 around 190 with a bit of a beer belly 😉. I wear a large and it fits great. There are adjustment strapsOn the waist that allow you to tighten or loosen. I would definitely try the large. Besides, you want a little extra room to allow for a layer for the cooler temps, like early mornings or evenings. Remember, Amazon, RevZilla etc, all have a return policy as long as the jacket has the tags and is in new condition when returned. Let me know how it works out for you.

Mike I got a Klim Induction jacket in blue and gray on Sale about 6 months ago, fantastic jacket and the air flow is best I have seen, I watch reviews and they talk about great air flow and I'm like were is it, the Klim realy delivers, the materials used is great if you have that ouch day you will be very happy with this jacket, all ways recommend up grading armor no mater what jacket. When I got it never heard of them the best gamble I made on a jacket. Klim is up and coming and great bang for the buck. It is a one time if you go down jacket but going to save a lot if skin more than almost all the summer jackets out there. I give Klim 5 STARS + Guamkid

Hey Mike how are you? I agree, I think it's a great product. From the few times I used it already, I can tell it's very well made, very safe, and the air flow air is insane. I couldn't be happier.

MIKE the Jacket is made in the USA ❤🤍💙 going to give everyone making jackets a run for there life if they keep making jacket like this. Got a nice Dainese 👎looks great but not as good as Klim. Mike you are great, Florida is open most places are closed, time to ride solo and talk, get out and RIDE enjoy the place you live and share it with every one there is a reason you live there a lot of good local ride videos you can do. 😀
@MRMRS2wheeler3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I love the fact that it is made in the USA. I liked the dianese, but it definitely was not as beefy as the klim. I feel much safer wearing the induction, and the airflow is no comparison. We are slowly getting back out there. Just returned from our first motocamping trip since this mess started. Man we’re we rusty lol. Well be doing more local rides. Thanks for the kind words Guam kid. Stay safe brother.

Hows the sizing on this? Loose fit? Im a large on marakeshi.
@MRMRS2wheeler3 жыл бұрын
Im a large in all my jackets. and this was no exception. It fits a little loose, which is good because you need to wear your own base layer in cooler temps. I find it perfect.

I'm looking into the Induction Pro, was going to get the Latitude but those aren't readily available right now. I need a jacket I can go to work in when its 90 but have a mid layer underneath when it's 50 degrees when I get out. Would a windproof layer work well under these? I'm in between a medium and large on their size chart.
@MRMRS2wheeler3 жыл бұрын
Klimt jackets are made to wear with your own layers underneath, I got caught I n a nasty storm this weekend, where the temps dropped to low 60’s, rain poured in buckets with 50mph winds. I was wearing the induction with a t shirt. So with a windbreaker with some insulation you should be fine. I am also looking to get the latitude to replace my aerostich. It’s a fantastic jacket, well worth the money, and more suited for cooler temps temps. It won’t be as cool as the the induction, but still breathes well. Only flaw I have found is that the neck is too wide and rain can leak in from there if you have a small neck like me. I need to try t out in person. Hope that helped. Stay safe

I ride in 80 to 100 degree I think there is no Issue. Depends on what you put under it. I am 5'10 160 to 180 the, I have major weight swings a medium fits me very nice not to tight, I hope that helps you, think there is no problem as a year around jacket for 80 to 50 degrees with something under it order it from Revzilla try the medium leave tags on put it on with the winter gear you want to use, if not good free return get the next size that's my recomendation. Ride Fast Ride Safe.
@demon8173 жыл бұрын
As far as rain if you can cary a rain jacket highly recomend the FLY RAIN JACKET COMES IN COMPLETE SET THE JACKET AND PANTS, THE WAY IT IS DESIGNED NO RAIN WILL GET IN AROUND THE NECK GOT THE BRIGHT ORANGE AND BLACK FOR VIABILITY. Do some research can't remember the name got it from revzilla packs in a real small bag that comes with it. Hope that helps. Personally unless it's rainig when I leave or know it's goin to I leave it at home, you get wet dry the jacket that's biking consider it a shower or cleaning your gear. 😍
@brandonrides89533 жыл бұрын
@@demon817 thanks for the input, I called Klim directly and opted for the Large because I have wider shoulders from lifting. So if it's too big I'll send it back for a medium. People in similar situations as me reviewed the original Induction saying they went large
@MRMRS2wheeler3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, I thought I replied already. This jacket will do very well in 90° temps. As far as 50's, if you have a warm, windproof, mid layer you should be alright. I have ridden in 40° with a mesh jacket (it was all I had at the time) and bundled up in layers, I was fine. If you are riding in mostly warm weather, its a good investment. If you're riding in mostly cooler weather, you might want a good winter jacket that has plenty of vents that you can open when it's warm. I can recommend the tour master transition. I have ridden in 30's to triple digits in it. Great alll around jacket. I've had mine for around 7,8 years and still use it when I am riding local.

Thank you, besides the armor, what's the difference between this one and the Pro?
@Nate.H3 жыл бұрын
The pro has goat leather accents on the elbow, external chest pocket, and higher level cordura in impact zones. It's not worth the extra money, though. For some reason the fit is worse and it's way uglier from an aesthetic standpoint. Skip the pro and pick up the regular or a discounted older induction.

@@MRMRS2wheeler i think d jacket designed for Europe climate but definitely not for tropical climate especially we have super high humidity level that's make you easier get heat fatigue or heat exhaustion which leads to accident easily
@MRMRS2wheeler Жыл бұрын
@@sunfresco001 I live in tropical south Florida, i know all about humidity, I love this jacket but like I mentioned in the video "it's not for long distance riding" or extended use. Your body needs to sweat to regulate temperature and this prevents that. It's great for short rides.
@4940markhutchins3 ай бұрын
@@MRMRS2wheeleragree on the need to manage sweat. I wear a Marrakesh for long distance touring because it doesn’t have as much airflow. Combined with my LD Comfort base layer and the controlled ventilation of my Goldwing Tour fairing, heat is managed very well, especially in the mid 90s and above.
