Thanks for the review. It was ... mostly fair... I think. I have had the Core 200 for 4 months now and really like it, I knew I was not buying a 990D, I was only spending $450. So the folks starting to compare the Core 200 to soundbars that cost 2 or 3 times as much are not being real. I agree that ATMOS brings out the best here. I also agree it can do a nice job with some music. Did not buy the matching Sub, but hooked up a R-100SW-RCS I had gathering dust. Helps a lot. May get the Sub 200 when it's out. The Surr 100 are, well, not great, but the instructions that come with the bar pictured the Surr 200 so it must be coming soon. Again, FOR THE PRICE, not bad at all,and definately better that the last Klipsch offerings. Lastly, you did not mention Onkyo much - do you think this marriage has possibilities?

Have all these soundbars it obviously has some limitations relative to the D. But there are plenty of folks that are not fans of Samsung sound. Uhhhh, I’d say it’s peaking in the door. The “300 revision” up along with upgraded surrounds and sub - would put it square in the conversation and a contender as a sub dragon soundbar leader. But I think there is a sizable chunk out there that (while it’s not as bombastic as the Q900 series) would prefer the sound of the Core 200

@neverenoughtech5 ай бұрын
How different our dragon reviews were? Or his dragon and my Klipsch style? I think AR came into the review annoyed (as he was not given a unit to review) and has had time to read and expound upon the complaints. My reference was more how the dragon has been unburdened by what has been and moved on into new territory … I judged bass and other abilities based on existing soundbar competitors -- I think he referenced bass performance more to higher end AVR separates performance. I’m gonna have another dragon video to sharpen my praises and critiques
@S1mmz5 ай бұрын
@@neverenoughtech The review itself how different. You're far more entertaining to watch than he is and probably speak more the truth with purchasing everything yourself. Well it was the numbers he produced which I'm not saying I doubt him but it was interesting. Like the subs won't go lower than 40hz, the bar on its own won't play lower than 300hz before rolling off. Volume 6 - 67db, volume 9 - 76db lol, how does anyone go above volume 10? I'm not fussed, as I have the Bravia quads at 3.5m apart paired with a A95L and it's absolutely fantastic, I was just surprised by his figures. Yeah, can't really comment if he was annoyed as didn't get a review unit but wouldn't surprise me. Pretty sure they changed their tune on Sennheiser when they weren't sent an Ambeo plus calling it a joke company.

I've just about had it with my Polk Audio MagniFi Max SR. Even if the popping and interference-like issues don't ruin it, the inability to stay in Dolby Digital makes me crazy. Unplug...might get it for 5 minutes, maybe half a movie. Thinking about the Flexus 200 center/surrounds and the R-100 sub as mentioned. Did you spend much time with it? I figure the better sub, as well as being wired, may be better for longevity if I move on to another soundbar. Would the R-12SWi 12" sub be a good option over the 10"? The price difference isn't much.

I can also sacrifice app tech etc IF the dedicated channel count gives me a dynamic & robust sound I was expecting from the 1200.. of course for me personally it’s a moot since it lacked DTS. Goddam Klipsch give me a soundbar system that has the signature I’m use to with Klipsch & just a true flagship system.. please! I’ll gladly pay for it! Haha Anyways great review!

Purely in terms of sound, it looks like a step backward from the Cinema 1200, which sounds great (when it works, of course...), regardless of input format, surrounds are the best from all I have tested (Sammy Q950A and Q990C, Heos Bar with Home 100 and even Home 350 surrounds, HK Bar + Surrounds). I hope there will be a Flexus 300 bar and Sub/Surr 200 to make new series comparable to Cinema 1200 set that I bought for 1/3 initial price. Until then, I'm sticking with the Cinema 1200 as long as it works ;D

I appreciate the feedback - thought, I’m not entirely sure why you’re against it, aside from the concern that it “could take over our way of life.” However, consider the advancements like electricity, running water, automobiles, and the internet-all of which you likely use. These innovations significantly altered lifestyles and displaced some jobs, yet they ultimately fueled growth and created new opportunities. While manual clothes washers are rare today, the overall number of jobs has increased. I understand that someone might find it unappealing if content creation were reduced to the mere push of a button, with videos appearing without any thought or effort - coming across as completely generic. But that’s not what’s happening here-I’ve invested maaaany hours into creating this video along with buying the equipment. You might not resonate with the aesthetic style, and that’s fair. But that is not your stated gripe For me, this is about making the visions in my head more tangible. I also recognize that this technology is completely inevitable, and I want to be prepared for its impact by understanding the tools. That’s why I’m experimenting with it in my content creation.
