Darling little faces! You rocked with this video! I’m knee deep in paper at the moment moving my room and was looking for help with organizing. Your system is absolutely perfect for my needs. Big paper drawers on bottom are inaccessible to me now. Will get your system installed. I will actually have pain free leisurely moments to rifle through my pretties and choose. 20 years worth. And thanks also for the chair as wheelbarrow! Can’t thank you enough for this calm concise practical approach to organizing my mountain of gorgeous papers!🥰🥰 ,

Hi Catherine ... I'm so happy that my video has helped you with your paper organization. It's definitely awesome having flip bins and makes finding paper fun & easy. The only negative I've found to using the flip bins, is that you have to use up your table tops to store them ... I just wish I had more room to have more of them. Good luck with your paper organizing! Karen 🤗

Thank you so much ... I do love my dogs like they are my kids. I didn't know this at the time I made the video, but a few weeks ago I went to visit my sister in Texas and I found a cutting board from Ikea that is only $2.99 and just a little smaller than the Amazon one. There's a link in the description of this video to the one from Ikea as well as the one from Amazon. I really wish there was some way to edit videos on KZbin.

Thanks .... I didn't know this at the time I made my video but I found a more inexpensive option for a cutting board. If you are looking for a cutting board, Ikea has the LEGITIM Chopping board (13 1/2" x 9 1/2") that is only $2.99. If you don't have an Ikea close by, they also have this available online.

I’m a new subscriber and am exploring your videos. Using page protectors like this is a great idea! I ordered a bunch of page protectors and the holes are all in the wrong place. Now, I know I could punch them myself, but I just didn’t want to. These would be great for that purpose. It wouldn’t have occurred to me to cut off the hole strip, though. Great idea!

Hi Sandy ... thanks so much for subscribing and leaving me a comment. That's so awesome that you found a way to repurpose your page protectors. It's hard sometimes to get rid of the things we are not using, and it always makes me happy when I can find a use for something that's been floating around my craft room. Happy Crafting!!!

Hi Dawna ... thanks so much for taking the time to leave me a comment. I love being able to share organization ideas with y'all ... I just love to organize things and so happy I can share it with you. I don't really have a workstation in my craft room. I have two work tables which are completely empty tables. I found that a dedicated workspace didn't work well for me and it ended up being a dumping ground that I could never keep clean. So, my philosophy for my craft room now is blank worktables and mobile storage. I have about 4 carts that I can roll to wherever I'm working in my craft room that have my tools (glue, scissors, pens, etc), mixed media supplies, dies, embossing folders, etc. I also put just about everything in a container that I can grab and carry over to my work table. I am planning to do more organization videos to share the carts and other storage in my room. If you would like to see pictures of my craft room, I have posted a bunch of pics in the facebook group (Craft Room Organization with Yes Please Paper Crafts). If you haven't joined the facebook group yet, please click on the link in the description of this video to request to join. Once you get to the facebook group, there's an album under photos that has the pictures. At some point I will probably do a craft room tour but I'm still learning how to film things and that's a little bit more of a challenge then I want to take on right now.

I love the way you store the paper in the flip file. My paper is a mess. I tried going to Home Goods and can’t find a box that will work. I see there is a cutout for a handle in the box. Do you have a suggestion on where I can find a box like this? I also went to Tuesday Morning but they only have the photo boxes. I really love this and want to do it. Love your videos ❤️
@YesPleasePapercrafts5 жыл бұрын
Diana ... I got my boxes many years ago so I don't know that they would still be available in the store. I did a few searches online and couldn't find the bins that I have, but I did find one from Target that looked like it would work. It's called the Half Bin Floral Pattern Blue - Threshold (www.target.com/p/half-bin-floral-pattern-blue-threshold-153/-/A-75663593). This bin from Target does have an angle on one end but if you used that part as the back, the angle would actually help with creating the angle you need to flip through your paper. You could also try Tuesday Morning, TJMaxx, Marshalls, @ Home, Target and Bed Bath & Beyond ... these are stores that would probably have something like the fabric covered bins that I used. You could also get a box without handles because you are probably not going to want to lift this once you load your paper into the bin as it's going to be very, very heavy. When I moved my bins recently, I emptied most of the paper out before I moved the bins. I hope that you will find some bins that you like to create your flip storage and I would love to hear back from you once you have found your bins.

Yes Please Papercrafts, thank you so much. I can’t wait to try this 😘
@nikkis2224 жыл бұрын
My guesses for why the branding strip is at the bottom: 1) Most stores have the paper stored in slot paper racks. Customers can easily see the banding strip and identify what the are looking for. 2) When paper is stored like that most people touch and handle the branding strip. Therefore, hopefully limiting the damage to the actual scrapbook paper. Maybe?? 🙂
@YesPleasePapercrafts4 жыл бұрын
Yep, that makes sense. lol ... It still makes me crazy that either it's upside down when you have it on the top, or it's on the bottom where you can't see it. And, then there are the odd ball manufacturers that have the branding strip at the top. 😊

what kind of canon printer do you have? Does it print 12 x 12?
@YesPleasePapercrafts3 жыл бұрын
Hi Crystal .. when I created this video, I was using the Canon Pixma MX922 inkjet printer, but that printer does not print 12x12. I now have the Canon TS Series PIXMA TS9521C Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Duplex Craft Printer and it does print 12x12 borderless. This Canon printer is very difficult to find and it is always on backorder, however, if you keep checking for it, you should be able to find one. My friend waited months to get one but she finally found one available. As far as I know it is the only printer that is reasonably priced that prints 12x12 borderless ... it retails for $249. Also, be careful with the model if you decide to get this printer, the Canon Pixma TS9521 (without the C) is a black printer and does not print 12x12 borderless ... my friend actually contacted Canon and they told her that the TS9521 prints 12x12 but it doesn't. The "TS9521C" model which only comes in white, is the only crafting printer from Canon that prints 12x12. The best way to find this printer is to request to be notified by Canon.com or by BHP Photo when it comes back into stock. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=canon%20ts9521c&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma. Hope this helps. Karen

Who makes the best cubes??
@YesPleasePapercrafts4 жыл бұрын
That's a good question ... There are not many companies making bins or cubes that are the right size. The Meori foldable box is one of the best foldable/collapsible bins that I've found. I'm still trying to figure out where to get bins or cubes that are a good size to create the flip storage for the 12x12 paper. I've had a few viewers leave comments with the bins that they used and I updated the links in all 3 of the Flip Bin storage videos with these suggestions.

Such cuties!! They look like little Ewok. So does having 2 female dogs work out ok? I had a problem having 2 females with my Norfolk terriers. Anyway, the paper ideas were nice too! 😉
@YesPleasePapercrafts5 жыл бұрын
Having two female dogs is a challenge (especially since they are sisters from the same litter). I wouldn't recommend getting two dogs from the same litter but I had no idea at the time that there could be serious issues. My girls are now 8 1/2 ... they got along just fine for the first 4 years, then it got bad and started fighting with each other. The past 4 1/2 years have been a struggle ... but 2 dog trainers and many, many hours of training and just 3 weeks ago, we are finally back to normal with no fighting. I don't know if it will stay this way, but I sure hope so.
