What your saying is actually underrated IMO. The Spurs were the Lakers best rivals during Kobe's peak. Greatness vs greatness almost every year in the playoffs. Lebron only had to face that kind of greatness in the finals and we saw what they did to him. Boston as well but it wasn't until Lebron joined Wade and Bosh did he get over Boston. The West was always the real finals for a while until super teams formed to compete. I'll always hold Kobe higher because he went against the best to squeeze out 5 chips. Lebron, while great did his damage vs sub .500 teams until atleast the 2nd round.

laz chapman there is a difference though, Kobe played in a watered down expansion era league. The only opponent Jordan has to face Other than mutumbo or Ewing was Shaq... teams in Kobe’s prime era were harder than Jordan’s prime era.
