NGL it's great fun- I spent like 200 in game years as a Greek adventuring dynasty with nothing but Cataphracts and Horse Archers and it was a ton of fun- I was basically unstoppable on the plains and in the steppes

Currently playing a Rabbinistic Hebrew wanderer going towards taking back Izrael, and I just got a free regiment of horse archers. That made me realise- maybe I can get elephants?

My army consists of: - 1800 Mubarizun (121 attack, 99 defense, 13 screen and 0.1 siege progress) - 500 horse archers (67 attack, 57 defense, 48 pursuit and 30 screen. Weakest of my troops, mainly for pursuit) - 300 Ayrudzi (Armenian light cavalry, 98 attack, 89 defense, 36 pursuit and 45 screen) - 300 Ballistai (117 attack, 32 defense, 15 pursuit, 25 screen, 0.2 siege progress. I picked them up mainly because my culture is yet to discover any siege weapons)

Elephants: Build a Proving Grounds, go to Delhi (or somewhere in India), build the Elephant Barracks in your Proving Grounds, recruit and Elephant Captain, build anything that gives you buffs to Elephants and Men-at-Arms, stomp armies 20 times bigger than you. Your provisions costs for moving are insane however ...

I really wish there was a way to increase the strength of levies even if marginally. the average levy from the 9th century would have vastly different equipment to a levy from the 13th century. levies are unfortunately practically completely useless in crusader kings 3 when in reality they did have quite a large role, especially with filling out the manpower for armies. there should also probably be at least 2 or 3 tiers of levy types as there is once again a difference between a serf with a scythe and a peasant armed with a spear, kettle helmet and shield.

Not having any levies could maybe mess up your ability to counter, or maybe they could make being outnumbered has certain debuffs so you need to have some bulk to your armies.

If you can play unlanded after being landed, you can diverge culture before you do, if you are viking, you can go do your desert raider make move speed, then become unlanded. You can be super fast while being unlanded, since you travel a lot while being unlanded, this is good? Please.

You need the cultural trait that allows you to switch between landed and unlanded. I cannot remember the name but Sicilians have it. You start from scratch when you though which is annoying.

That´s a start, but take a Viking Adventurer - Mercanary Career - rush the Proving Grounds on LvL. 2 - Build in the 1st extra Slot the Elephant Keep. (Basic Dmg ca.450) wich you can also Boost like the Horse Archer. Have fun with that.. .... w8. what if Heastein goes Adventure - keeps his army and goes Elephant ? In 869 there where Elephants in Skandinavia fighting. All legit

You should do a Harald Hardrada run -Start as a young man with the wounded trait, in Norway or wherever, -Adventure to Russia, down to the Byzantine empire, help them expand -Sail Back, Aqquire Russian wife if possible -Then use your men at Arms to Conquer England and Norway

I have so many ideas that I want to play already. I want to do a Freebooter run, I want to start a holy uprising and convert the barbarians to start a holy kingdom. I want to do a game wandering and setting up my kids in as many places as possible without actually getting any land myself.
