Kwon Y That is bad science.. as a person who HAD and now, doesn't have Diabetes type 2. It is excessive Simple Carbs and Sugar that cause it. I have now been in diet managed, 'remission' for over 8 years.now. My bloodwork/Lab work shows that I am Normal and not diabetic any longer. A Low Carb Diet is they way to go.. Also, we are now Gluten and Dairy Free for the past year. With the occasional treat.

when my K-husband told me about how much he loved waffles i didnt really think it was anything special.normally when i think about waffles i think "frozen". as soon as i opened the door, the sweetest scent came to me it was soo warm inside the shop/bakery. there are some con's to it if you buy it in MD you have to WAIT at least 15-20 mins since its always full. also the price, since my husband and i are big eaters 2 waffles each isn't enough (4 waffles= around 10$) the largest amount we bought was 8 waffles plus 2 coffees and bread we spent around 28$. and yea its not the healthiest but it tastes so ~GOOD~

Oh. My. Gosh. Songnae makes THE BEST waffles. Every time I would come back from Seoul on Line 1 and come up the stairs, the smell would hit me and it was so good. Eat Your Kimchi The good ones in mind are around Gangnam-yeok but rather more commercialized. There was this one Ajuma in Shinchon like 3~4 years ago but she's now gone! Definitely got to do the trip to Songnae!

The next time y'all come to Singapore, try the waffles here! We have bakeries selling waffles like those but but BUUUUUUT you get to choose your own fillings!!!! It ranges from blueberry jam, chocolate, peanut butter (my fav!!!), kaya (coconut jam), butter or you can even have it plain. TRY IT WHEN YOU COME BACK TO SINGAPORE YEAH!!!

We have these waffles in Singapore and it is actually very common! Every neighbourhood bakery will have the waffle machine and they have a whole list of fillings you can put inside the waffle! Of course there are the nicer ones and the not so nice ones but in all it makes a very good snack! :D

Hey Simon and Martina, there is an old lady in Sinchon who makes the best apple butter waffles. Literally called Grandma waffle, and just one stop away from the studio. And its super soft!

if you ever get to visit nyc, theres this store called paris bakery in manhattan's chinatown. They sell greentea waffles with the sweet toppings, I usually get condense milk. It is soooo delicious and cheap as hell as well.

Eat Your Kimchi Martina will hate me but i frickin LOVE crunchy on the outside soft on the inside waffles. a caffe bene store just opened in my country and boooyyyy the walnut waffles that they had were so delicious! and by walnut waffles i mean they had small chunks of walnut in the batter and that made it crunchy and nutty, it was soooo goood and dense! probably that's not how a waffle's supposed to be, but i love it that way! i'm weird!

Instead of apple butter, I think they put peanut butter, butter and condensed milk. into the waffles and it's like a combination from the heavens.

I can get it at my local grocery store (walmart, ingles, kroger, publix, target, etc.), then again I live near MANY apple orchards, so I don't know if its as easy to get in other places. I do get I suppose "name brand" apple butter? Its not like the apple butter is made in the orchards and brought to the grocery store, but the apples used for it are more than likely from our local orchards so. Its the Musselman's Apple Butter that I usually get :) Sorry im no expert on this, but obviously people want to know lol
