The usuals in our home are: chicken breast (schnitzel or like a stir fry), with rice, Ground turkey ( either meat balls or spaghetti Bolognese) Tuna patties,with rice or potatoes and a veg side dish, Blinses filled with mashed potatoes and veg sauce, Pasta with sauce and cheese Leftovers from shabbat

Ground beef tacos topped with fresh diced onion, tomato, cilantro and sliced avocado. Then add a squeeze of lime and some cheese. Then i make some Spanish style rice on the side

a good erev Shabbos Sonya..I'm a 68 yr old woman who is doing tschuvah, returning to kashrus and made your challah recipe. I've made challah over the years, always too cake-y, and always 3 strand braid. I used your challah recipe and used bread flour and did a 6 strand under/over and am the owner of a 7" high loaf...just hope it tastes as good as it looks;-) May Hashem keep you and all of your family healthy, in gashmiess and ruchniess.

Oh my, using frozen cauliflower florets is a game changer for me. I crave them battered & over baked but it can be a hassle to deal with a whole head of cauliflower. So much seems to go to waste. Love it, thanks.

Hi, Sonya! I stumbled across one of your videos last week and was intrigued- so I watched it. I've been binge watching your channel, ever since. I must say, I absolutely LOVE the way you LOVE your family and culture. It makes me so happy to see you living your happiest life. You do everything with so much joy. May you always be this way. I live a quiet, simple life in New Jersey- alongside my wonderful husband and beautiful mother (who lives with us). I was raised in a Puerto Rican home and to this day, my mother and I speak Spanish amongst ourselves and we cook our cultural cuisine. My husband (who is Italian) loves our culture and food. You are such a blessing to your family. 🥰 I grew up as a 90’s latch key kid, and my mom almost never cooked. When she did, it was never homemade- just Hamburger Helper, spaghetti, and frozen pizza on repeat. (Yeah yeah, better than nothing.) But no love was ever poured into our meals like this. I’m a mom to a 3 year old and I’m due in 3 weeks with my 2nd baby. I appreciate you sharing recipes and cooking tips so I can bless my family in this way, too. God bless.

All of the dinners look fabulous. White fish filets, buttered rice with hot sauce and sliced or halved avocados have been among my favorite food combos for years. I'm not Jewish.

I am not Jewish but the YT algorithm brought me to you. I have loved watching your preps for Shabbat and this video, too. You often surprise me with your ingredients. In this one you used the "butter" and cilantro to season several things when I would have used olive oil and parsley. You also seem to use a lot of Chicken Consome to season meat. I had never done that but tried it and it was good. Sorry, but I also get a kick out of your New York accent. Thanks for making these great videos.
