It looks like the left side of your magnetic door is coming apart from the gazebo screen. Smart idea though putting that on. I just finished putting my gazebo up a few days ago and I'm going to order one of those. Also thanks for posting the link to the assembly. It was a big help. I had seen that vid but didn't check it out because it was a Sojag Messina and not a Kozyard Alexander. It think they all come from the same factory and just name them different for different retailers. The parts for both are exactly the same. Btw nice job on the deck. Almost forgot to say that Kozyard redesigned the mosquito net at the top. Instead of the one like yours that goes flat across the top, they created 4 panels that sit vertically so the 2 hooks are now accessible. They didn't account for the pentagon shaped caps on the 4 corners though so the panels don't sit perfectly flat on the ends, but it's still better than having the thing covering the hooks.

I have a paver patio that I will install my gazebo on. So as not to ruin the look of the pavers I plan to drive aluminum spikes through the holes in the deck plates to minimize horizontal movement, and fill 3' pvc pipes with stone (36" long) and mount inside the aluminum columns. This will provide 75# of weight at each of the 4 corners. My concern is the water channeling down the insides of the columns. I don't want the water to hit the tops of the weight pipes and splatter inside the gazebo. Does the water channel down the inside of the columns or just splash willy-nilly down the column? The weight pipes will be secured to the channels with SS pipe clamps.

We just finished assembling our 12' x 16' Kozyard Gazebo. I love it for the exact reasons you do. I, too, do not like unzipping and zipping the screens. I was lifting up the zipped screen and crawling under it. Please give me a step by step description of how you installed the magnetic door. I am guessing you totally separated the screens that are zipped together. Where exactly did you screw the door to the metal? I get that you used 3M spray to attach the door to the screens. What did you do with the excess screen left over from where the door is? About installing the fan. My gazebo does not have a mesh covering the ceiling so the metal ceiling is exposed. I would like to attach an outdoor ceiling fan to the ceiling itself. Do you have suggestions on how to hang it from the ceiling, please. Thanks so much for your video.

There is no excess screen left over. There is just more gazebo screen slid to the left and more gazebo screen slid to the right. I also bought the magnetic mosquito screen. I am still able to zip the gazebo screen closed if I chose. Unzip the gazebo screen on the side where you want to place the mosquito screen. The mosquito screen has velcro across the top. I velcroed the mosquito screen to the inside of the gazebo. (that was the last step). My mosquito screen was a little longer than the gazebo screen so I started attaching the two screens at the bottom. I used my sewing machine to attach the magnetic screen to the gazebo's screen.

Also, you mentioned needing rubber washers, which makes sense -- how many washers would be needed, and what size?

Andrea, Thank you for some very good questions. Since I didn't put washers on mine , I have no answer for you on the number or size for a rubber washer. The panels are installed after the roof frame is installed on top of the four legs because of the weight to raise the frame. Not easy to remove the panels, but anything can be done with a screwdriver and a wrench and two people, good luck. after you purchase count up the screws and take one to your local hardware store.

The reason they didn't line up is you have them positioned wrong. The holes are different in 2 of the screens than the other 2, with both the netting and the privacy screens. Remember the ends have 6 hooks and the sides 7 hooks per half so the holes are positioned to match that.

I've had three, 10x12 canvas top gazebos so when it was time to order my hardtop I thought it was a no brainer to order 10x12 for my 11'9" wide concrete patio area, length wasn't an issue. Sadly, this hardtop gazebo was much smaller than my last three 10x12 gazebos by a lot! I couldn't fit my furniture I used in my last gazebos in my new gazebo nor do the bolting come close to where I previously bolted my gazebo down. Look on Kozyard site, you will see the true measurements. It's more like a 8x10 gazebo. They list the width inside the the posts as 7'9" and inside the post on the length as 10'.5" I am happy with the construction of the gazebo, but who measures from the eves? I could have used a 12x12 for my 11'9" wide patio slab. It would have made a hugh difference.

Great Video. This looks just like the Messina Sun Shelter sold at Costco. You had mentioned the roof bolts leaking, do you happen to know the diameter of the roof bolts?

I had no leaks so far and had a fairly heavy rain.
