After losing 130lbs, I would still turn sideways to go through my door at work even though I no longer needed to. I never knew there was a phrase for it. It took about 3 years before I no longer did that. You're doing a great job. Keep it up! 👏

I went through a huge weight loss while also job hunting many years ago. My friend told me to go to the Goodwill in the Ritzy part of town. Found pants and suit jackets that only fit for 2 weeks but they got me through those 2 weeks (and several interviews) and were maybe $3 each? And when they were too big, I donated them. :)

My kinesthetic awareness was off for a couple of years after I released 120 lbs back to the Universe. Where I would sit, how far from a table, etc. - I was so screwed up for a while. However, I've maintained my weight release for 8 years now, and I know I'll never go back. Now, I know where I'm at in the world again, and I trust myself that I'll honor my healthy body by taking excellent care of myself.

I am in my weight loss journey as well. I am living abroad in Vietnam. I am under the care of my kung fu brother, who is a traditional vietnamese medicine doctor, and he is teaching me qigong and pushing hands (taiji tuisho). He said that qigong will shrink my loose skin. We are documenting this to prove whether it does or doesn't work. I can already see my skin tightening. I will keep you informed about how qigong and pushing hands effects my loose skin. I am a very tall woman and am Brian's current size. I think that the qigong will work, based on what I have seen in the martial arts world.

i will tell you what my weight loss surgeon told me ( 4 years ago , pre WFPB eating ) you need to be at a stable weight , as in not losing anymore, for at least 18 months to really KNOW how your skin will react, said people tended rush into skin repair / removal post weight loss...so much comes into play genetics, healthy diet 😁, hydration levels etc... thanks for all you share, you guys are a big inspiration, i dont have a lot of weight left to lose but i do have some health issues that have massively improved from applying what I have learned from you...and hubby has even joined me in this new way of eating! he really enjoys your videos too 💜

That sounds about right. The skin is fairly elastic, and will sometimes tighten up over time. For example, Penn J right when losing the weight, and Penn a year or two after that loss look much different in the face. Less "turkey neck" because the skin followed suit after a while.

Great video guys! I'm on the maintain end of my weight loss journey and have encountered most of these myself. I was 380 at my highest and now am at 180 over the course of 10 years. 1. I'm still always cold, everyone makes fun of me for it. 2 I added running after the weight loss and have gained a lot of my muscle back in my lower half. I can proudly say that bony butt syndrome can be cured with muscle growth. 3. My kinesthetic awareness was always in relation to me in a crowd of people or tight spaces with people. That did go away with the years and now I don't have a phantom body mass screwing with my awareness. BTW I really enjoy the collab between the entire WFPB videos, feels a lot like the Avengers lol.

My husband and I started eating WFPB and SOS free almost 6 months ago. We are in our 70’s and have both lost weight easily and steadily. We have experienced some of these negatives, but the positives are life saving. My husband has Afib and his cardiologist has taken him off of 4 heart meds this week. He, the doctor, kept asking us, well what do you eat and where do you get your protein. I was laughing inside. Doctors are just not all trained in nutrition. Both of us are off of all cholesterol and blood pressure meds, and the energy we have both gained is so wonderful. My husband doesn’t exercise at all and I walk 3 and a half miles 6 days a week, so if you can’t exercise this works anyway. I only wish I had known about the health advantages to this years ago. Never too late to start though.

-"new"clothes: get hand-me-downs from family/friends, or thrift when you can or alter the size of the stuff you already have (tutorials online for it). -hormonal/periods: I've lost my period for a good length of time twice in my "diet" journey. First time was on a high carb, low fat diet without calorie restriction, second time was on a lower carb, higher fat diet with calorie restriction. Neither of those diets really work for me when it comes to well being. In the first diet it was the low fat that was the culprit, in the second one it was the calorie restriction that was the culprit. I don't do those things and now things are great. -bony butt: I've always had this. The solution is thick bouncy sturdy pillows.

For me the weirdest "bad" thing was that it hurt to sit for a long time since I had less padding on my butt and hips. And I was 160lbs at my thinnest (I'm 5'9"), I don't understand how really skinny people can have a sit down job and not be in agony.

One of you 'best' videos, so far. Thanks , it was a pep talk for me, and sure many others. You both are very inspirational . Sorry about the fur baby. After this earthly journey, we can meet up again at the Rainbow Bridge with our furry kids.

Listening to you both is very encouraging. It's like listening to myself...I appreciate it a lot.
