I want to second that. To me it's a sad world where people are "weird" because they're interested in the world around them. And of course it's not that weird, because those documentaries are made. Those books are published. People are reading and watching.

Maybe a silly comment but ... Brian, you have beautiful eyes! (P.S. Jessica, I'm happily married :-D!) I'm a dancer and I danced with my son when he was small but his father behaved like it was not so good for his son to dance. What a pity. My son stopped dancing with me. I danced also with my daughter and they both loved it when they were small. I agree that dance trains the body in various ways and improves the mood as well. Thank you for sharing your personal information and singing! I also loved hearing the music by Mercy's Child. I'm going to listen to more of their songs!

I was hoping for weird things about the viewers in the comments too. :D Mine is that one of my birds screams "you're cute" when she is looking for me so I started yelling it back and now the whole family does it when they're looking for someone else. It's like Marco polo but with "you're cute" instead.

Honest. Lovely. Witty. Not too many people would show childhood photos and videos of dancing and ice skating in full costume. You are refreshingly open and just so down-to-earth. This video was a Christmas treat to watch (even tops the gift exchange). Do you think that your WFPB lifestyle adventure has made the two of you more confident? And the story of your “I love you” gesture with the three snaps is just adorable.

Ok, I’ve gotta say it. You two aren’t weird at all; you’re just plain wonderful! Jessica, I don’t have a bent pinky but I do have a double-jointed finger, and Brian, I was the weird kid who read encyclopedias for fun (yeah, that made me REAL popular in school - NOT!). Brian your voice and lyrics brought tears to my eyes. As did the look on Jessica’s face while watching you...simple, complete adoration and love! Than-q for sharing all you have here. I so appreciate your continued level of fun, realness and authenticity with us. Weird means unique and interesting in my world. It means not following the masses, not being afraid to stand out from the crowd and do whatever works for you, chasing whatever rainbow lights you up most. You are both intelligent and have followed your varied interests and passions your entire life. You have pursued and lived experiences in areas you enjoy and have not been afraid to try new things. THAT is what too many are forgetting to do in the midst of living in front of far too many screens in this, our supposedly progressive, advanced modern world. I struggle to understand those “playing” in simulated games of real worlds, doing things they dream of doing in “real” life, rather than turning off the game and going out and actually living their lives. Your weight loss transformation is what brings many to your channel. Your amazing personalities (as well as great recipes and information) both as individuals and together as a couple are what keep people coming back. Hope you are warm and well wherever you are in the world. Safe travels! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season. With peace, gratitude, grace and light! XO

This was a fun video! I, like Jessica, have a funky pinky-but mine is due to a softball injury in 5th grade. I can still bend it drastically in either direction like it’s made of rubber, and gross people out. I also love your ability to ice skate. I always wanted to, but wasn’t a good roller skater, so I never tried. I have more in common with Brian, being a fellow musician. I started at age 8 on piano, worked my way up the clarinet family in school (just because the band director and my parents all discouraged me from playing tuba. I did learn a little tuba in college though, when I majored in tenor sax. Now I play bass guitar, with drums on the side. I made a quirky Birthday video a few years ago, where I played bass, guitar, and drums and sang the Birthday song to myself. I found an app where I linked the 3 videos together, stacked them, then shared with my Facebook friends. Some of my friends request it each year on my Birthday. There’s my long but quirky story!

So much fun getting to know you both better! I am a general info nerd like Brian. I was so excited to take an aptitude test in high school to help decide where to focus my studies. It was inconclusive and said I would be good at whatever I chose, so that was no help!! As a mom I coerced my teenage son to join the ballroom dance team so one of my teenage daughters could join. (There weren't enough boys on the team.) He quit within a month, lol. I like how Brian pointed out all the benefits of dancing!

Hi Jessica my sister has a bent pinkie as do my daughter (in both) and her dad! I checked when she was first born too but it is quite hard to tell then as babies scrunch all their fingers up anyway! Just to say it is not an easy fix as it would seem my sister tried to have hers straightened which didn’t work and caused it to become very painful. My daughter actually broke one of her bent pinkies and now not only is it bent but it now sticks out from the rest of her fingers at an angle. I encouraged my daughter to see having hereditary bent pinkies as something special and not a defect ir something she should have “fixed”. Thankfully she has grown up to appreciate her little quirks as something to love about herself. PS I didn’t even notice yours!! Much love to you both as always 💕🎄

You guys are really humble! You're both obviously talented and intelligent and you undermine really cool attributes that you both possess. Jessica, you were not "chunky" in those pictures and you say you were not cool or popular in high school, but what is cooler than being friends with a rock star? And Brian your "general knowledge" is not weird, it actually makes you a very well rounded person (who can probably kick butt in trivial pursuit!) and puts you several notches above the average person who maybe knows a lot about something but little to nothing about anything else. I would not characterize any of these things as "weird" ... I would be bragging if I were either of you!!

Jessica, did you ever get to meet any of the other Fleetwood Mac members? And Brian, dude, I thought I was listening to Creed (With Arms Wide Open). Yep, I never noticed the pinky Jessica. And Brian, dudes do dance. Look at Mariah Carey's dancer Bryan Tanaka. He's done like over 8 world tours thus far. And then there's The Nutcracker male dancers, Dancing with the Stars, etc. So now we can see more clearly, Jessica fell in love with your singing but you're cooking is keeping her. Ah ha!! Love your vulnerability and honesty in sharing this, and it's so touching to see how much you love and appreciate each other's "weirdness". Like Jessica, I have no specific musical talent but have always made up little tunes, sometimes original and sometimes based on existing songs. I specifically remember when my son was little (1-2 years old), I'd adapt the old Andrews Sisters song "A Bushel and a Peck" into a bath song. "I love you, a bushel and a peck, bet your dirty neck I do. I love you a rock and a boulder, bet your dirty shoulder I do. I love you peanut butter and jelly, bet your dirty belly I do." I kind of wish I had video of that, though my son is now 18 and would probably move heaven and earth to destroy that evidence if it did exist. ;)

Back in the early 1990's I drove limo's for a company that had an account with the old Pier 66 Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale FL. I was parked in the front when a hotel rep comes up to the car to see if I was available. His client's car was late and he needed a ride. I was indeed available. Long story short, the client was Lindsey Buckingham. I didn't get to take him because his ride pulled up just as we were getting ready to leave. But it was a delight to meet him. "Rock on!"

Love The Krocks! I am a music and drama teacher at a Christian school in the San Francisco Area. Brian has a beautiful voice. Your content is so valuable and you are both such fun to watch. God Bless you both in 2020!

This is the type of video {in my most humble opinion} that is pure gold - people dropping their defenses, being real & sharing their true selves with others. I’ve always felt “perfection” is so boring - it’s the quirks, uniqueness, & oddities of individuals that draws me to them & keeps me interested. It’s also very inspiring. I loved everything about this video & sat in my home, all alone, laughing out loud at “You kind of rock” ... “Momentary math break here...” 😄 Personal note to Jessica {Brian you are NOT allowed to read this, LOOK AWAY!}: Jessica, the way Brian looks at you when you’re talking & unaware is how everyone would love to be looked at by the one they love. You are truly blessed, beautiful lady. 🙂

@Jessica you might have Dupuytren’s Contracture. which is a genetic condition found mostly in Scandinavian population. Are you scandinavian? My family is from Germany and Norway and both my grandfather's had it. and i have it as well, also in my pinkie. Although not as bad as you. going Plant Based really helped mine. didnt cure it but i can stretch it out now. dunno. edit: thats so cool about Lindsey Buckingham

@@camerajen www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1305903/ some interesting medical info. my grandfather had it really bad in his hands and required surgery. it is a progressive disease but notice that the studies show that oxidative free radicals trigger its progression so i bet that the high antioxidant intake of Plant Based diets nearly stop it - which is exactly what happened to me. I had it spreading into my ring-finger and also my feet and that completely reversed once i started eating so much vegetables and fruit.

The actor Bill Nighy has Dupuytren’s contracture: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Nighy#Personal_life I think I read his brother’s contracture was so severe it required surgery. Evidently both Ronald Regan and Margaret Thatcher had it, too: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dupuytren%27s_contracture#Notable_cases

When I hear Lindsey Buckingham's name I think of the SNL skit "What up with That?" Do you remember that? I saw Fleetwood Mac last year. Too bad he wasn't part of the tour.

Wow, that was fun. From one weirdo to the other (2) I must say I always seem to resonate more with Brian (musician, cooking, etc) but particularly in the love of all things trivial. Here's one for your British quest (don't cheat). What does M.G. stand for (like in their cars). How many will you be able to identify on the street ? You should be over there soon, so have a great holiday season. Be safe, stay warm and just have a ball. Greetings from the Netherlands. 🌹 (p.s. Jessica: how does Brian look in his tutu nowadays?) 😜

You guys are so stinkin’ cute! Thanks for sharing a bit about your lives. I think the reason that people are drawn to hit is because we see you as people who would be our friends if you lived in the neighborhood. You are unapologetically yourselves, and I really admire that. Thank you for your impact on so many lives. You are inspirations! I’m grateful for you this Christmas. 💜

Finding out that you're Christians too just almost made me cry. God has gifted you two, and I'm so glad you are using those gifts to glorify Him! Thank you for sharing!
