Am I the only one who likes the new headlight? I thought the old one was a bit... boring. The new styling looks great, sharp and aggressive, but without the droopy nose of the Super Duke GT. Can't wait to get my hands on one :)

Great Job on the instrument Cluster, the color is cool! I'm sorta lost with 3 models, I can only afford one, but that one should do everything well, KTM makes me feel like which ever bike I buy, I'm sacrificing something from the other two bikes. I'm also not a fan of the anteater front end..on this bike or the 1290 Super Duke GT. The face should look friendly, or intimidating, but not ugly.

ktm missed the boat when they pulled out of supplying bikes for the long way down, bmw took that and excelled. I own a 2017 300 exc and 690 smcr 2015 both the best in category. These 2 bikes probably are the best sports touring models.It is time to make a new documentary using these models ktm sponsors some of the best off road riders in the world so come on step up to it and own the sector.

You won`t really tell me, that these bikes were agile for offroad motorcycling? Tolle Bikes, keine Frage! Aber wann bringt KTM denn mal eine gescheite Reiseenduro für Leute, die nicht mit 160 PS durch den Sand pflügen wollen (oder dies auch gar nicht können), und die auch keine 13.000,- Euro Plus "X" für ein Bike nebst Zubehör übrig haben? Es ist natürlich legitim, wenn Hersteller einen Absatzmarkt für hochpreisige Motorräder finden und bedienen. BMW macht das mit der GS auch nicht anders. Das ist aber doch nur ein Teil des Marktes. Leute mit eher durchschnittlichen Einkommen (und das dürfte die Mehrheit sein) bleiben bei diesen Angeboten größtenteils außen vor, und werden vermutlich nie KTM Kunde. Yamaha "verliert" ab 2017 dank der dann geltenden Euro 4 die XT 660er Z Ténéré, was wirklich schade ist. Da tun sich doch Möglichkeiten auf. Mit "gescheit" meine ich ein Bike, das irgendwas um die 80 PS (max.) hat, und mit vollem Tank unter 180 kg bleibt. Ich glaube auch, das diese enorme Leistungsschlacht für viele Fahrer gar nicht wirklich interessant ist. Fahrassistenzsysteme hin oder her. "Otto Normalbiker" ist mit 100 PS in aller Regel mehr als ausreichend bedient, wenn nicht sogar schon überfordert. Und auf schlechter Wegstrecke braucht man das Leistungsangebot doch sowieso nicht.
