Since filming this video, I've been sent new info regarding the total number of fuel-injected Countach QV built, which I've quoted below. Turns out the mix is not 50:50 FI/carb I quoted in the video after all. My thanks to Joe Sackey for sending me the following information. "Out of the 610 QVs built between 1985 and 1988, approximately 220 were FI cars, with 80% of those coming to the USA. Of the 657 25th Anniversarios built between 1988 and 1990, we know about 200 were FI cars, with 187 of those coming to the USA".

Guy Fawkes You Just Love being a Troll. Good for You, Yay!! Doesn't matter what you used to do for a living. You only live once, take a chill pill, since your comments make you sound immature. It's a cool car, regardless, a classic, period. It's a raw machine that growls. All cars go through changes and evolve. Plus, you can't form sentences very well or type well either, if you want to get technical about things. I did type MT900 in KZbin? All sorts of videos by many different people came up in my search. Please be more specific to be able to share your attempts at validity. I believe you. But, I'm an Illustrator and I don't go on other artists videos and say their artwork sucks? It's childish and rude. I'm sure you'd probably say my classic beast is shit too. Because hey, why not, that's what Trolls do on videos about cool things posted by nice people who enjoy their possessions, are passionate and love what they do. I Love my car and I think it Rocks, well, because it Damn Well Does! Live and enjoy life, leave people alone, keep your rude lame comments to yourself. Especially if it's a vehicle that you keep in your garage in a collection and take it every once in awhile, doesn't really matter. Cool car Harry, love the videos!! Cheers!

The Countach was and still is the "Dream Car" par excellence . Few lucky ones have the pleasure to own and drive one. While I was enjoying this video a sentimental yearning of that happiness was overwhelming me, I remember back in those young years in Zurich, a friend owned a Lamborghini Countach in a special VenenumGreen colour with race exaust, every week the Police stopped him for a fine (he got used to it)... when we drove in summer, we left the doors open when starting, waited 1/4 of an hour to warm the engine up and then while accelerating til 120 the doors closed due to airpressure :), the needle went from approx. 8000rpm to 6000rpm in every gear change. After so many years, I can still feel, live the tremendous sound, the cribbling in the veins, the excitement. Excellent video Mr. Gentleman.

I like the way Mr. Harry has presented this documentary. With small simple details and of-course personal touches here and there has kept this presentation interesting. He has managed to give all the details that are generally beyond the usual: Top speed, BHP, Torque, 0-62 MPH so on and so forth. Another interesting fact is that he showed how does the boot and the bonnet open's up (the latch/lock). Also the fact that the frontal cosmetic air vents are a problem during monsoon. The care required to wash car that might end up wetting the computer unit. Thank you for the documentary on one of the most popular pin up cars. I had this on my wall in deep Purple colour. I still feel she is one of the most futuristic looking cars for years to come.

You are quite right Harry, the 5000 QV is by far the most desirable, and most gorgeous Countach of all - with the exception of the unobtainable periscope models on fat tyres, of course! I once said to my dad, when I was about 18, that one day I would own a Lamborghini Countach. The other day, he reminded me of that statement over 30 years ago, and asked me why I now had 4 Porsches! And, the answer is, that I have more fun in my Porsches than I ever could in a Countach - but deep inside me, I still yearn for one. Happily though, I am content for that to remain an unfulfilled desire.

I recall reading once that the fuel economy (hahaha) on this car is about 6 miles to the gallon, in the city I'm sure. Not that such things matter on a car like this.

This video is so professionally done. Harry I think you should have your own shown on cable television. I will watch this again and again, so enjoyable.

Thank you for showing us your fabulous car Harry. The Countach has been my favourite car ever since the first time I watched the Cannonball Run, many (many!) moons ago. But all the books and magazines and stories I've accumulated can't describe adequately the experience that you can get across with a good video.. Indeed, the other thing that the written word can't adequately get across is the passion that such a car can generate, and I love the passion that you have for your car! :)
