Lamborghini on 60 Minutes

I remember when this first aired way back in '87. I was 15 so 60 minutes wasn't exactly on my "like to watch" list then. I was channel flipping and heard this story coming up next after the break. I did a mad hunt for a blank VHS and popped it in *just* in time to start recording. That tape *broke* some years ago so glad somebody posted it up again. Thanks!

Sounds almost exactly like my story! Thank God my tape never broke. It just took me about 5 years to find it when I wanted to transfer it to my computer. I have a tape with other Lambo stuff as well. Lambo movie clips from Rainman, Cannonball Run and the ENTIRE "It Takes Two" movie about the guy in Texas buying a Lambo kit car. LMAO! Thanks man.

Lamborghini Countach and Morley Safer... Two legendary icons. The new Lambos may be faster, but the Countach is hands down the SEXIEST Lamborghini of ALL time. I think every kid in the 80s, had a poster of one on their wall.

Thank you for posting this! Whenever I hear "Lamborghini", I think of this video I recorded on Beta way back in 1987! The tape still exists somewhere at my folks house, but the Beta VCR is no longer in working order, so this was a great find!

Thanks. It took me a long time to find my old VHS tape of this. They used clips from this show on a new Lamborghini story last year on 60 Min.

No. I barely got a VHS tape in the machine in time to record this (as you can see). At 16 years old 60 Minutes was not on the top of my viewing list. lol Sorry.
