Bro amazing video, bought a similar product from the company that had front and back camera, The sticky tape didn't work for me and was dreading using the car mount since putting it on the windshield blocked the front camera. My idiotic brain didn't even think to flip the mount and put it on the dash instead of the window.

Hi Joe! Yeah it's crazy to how electronics have come down in price over the years, when I was in high school people were playing with putting tiny computer screens with a mini PC and it was extremely expensive and very DYI, and now it's a available for little cost and no need to know how to put together LOL But yes regarding an all in one solution I'm currently testing a couple or mirror dash cams with similar capabilities, very cool stuff (however I'm my opinion a little strange to look up to see maps, directions or what music I'm playing LOL price is also substantially higher than normal dash cams but I know some won't mind) stay tuned for those, Cheers!

I bought this without a reverse camera, do you think it’s the same system that they have sent me cuz when I tried to connect my own reverse came into the av slot the screen says ‘no signal’. And I could not see a reverse icon or anything as in your video. Any idea?

Hi Hamlak! Ah Swapping components such as a different camera is sometimes possible BUT I usually don't recommend it unless you don't mind potentially voiding warranty (due to mixing components/brands). We also don't know the long term aspects (both operational and safety) of mixing components/brands. There is also the issue of which components will actually appear to work at first but fail later due to mixing since sometimes small differences between the products while looking the same from the outside are important (I had a viewer fry his new rear camera because the old wiring connections looked same as his prior rear dash cam) Cheers!

I’ve been trying to decide on this one vs the wider 9.26 screen because it’s rather wide and looks to long, vs this looks like a bigger version screen of my phone, mainly for videos. Is this one just as good as the I believe newer wider 10.26 Lammto ? Or Carpuride

Question. Bought Lamtto carplay screen. Installed the rear view camera to my rear windshield. It works but the video/picture is mirrored, the video is reversed. How do I fix it to show the actual rear view?

I just ordered this on amazon. But I just noticed that where the cables plug in the side, that should’ve been more hidden behind the screen. I see that in a lot of other brands. Would’ve been nice to have this mounted on the dash without seeing the wires. Kinda a bad design with this model.

@@AlexAutoFun might have to get some 90 degree adapters for the cables. A usbc 90 degree for the power cable and a 3.5 mm adapter for the rear camera cable

Hi! This systems are universal, so It's while the function almost the same, the main difference is the size. I recently installed my Lamtto RC07 connecting through the AUX output. Everything works fine until I make or receive a phone call. If I am listening to the radio or Spotify etc and I receive or make a phone call when I hang up, I no longer get any sound from whatever I was listening to previously, I have to restart the device in order to get the sound back. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Fraser! Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the RC07 model but I would recommend contacting Lamtto for support, they may be able to walk you thru some troubleshooting steps or menu option to address the issue your having. And please keep us posted on your findings. Cheers!

Hi Omael! Nope the Aux in can only be used for Aux in, it is not intended to be used for a Microphone (AUX and MIC IN are normally different input types with different characteristics, including gain and power). Cheers!

Hi Darian! Ah yes, when requested by a customer, some installers will hardwire the system to the vehicle (depending on how the installer connects it, it can be switched on with a separate switch or with the car coming on). Cheers!

Here is another unit that has more processing power kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJyon6upfrqdqbc however remember wireless connection vs a hardwire connection has an inherent lag in addition the amount of processing power your phone has and it can support 2.4G or 5G for the Wi-Fi Connection.
