Did you happen to film it not working before you bent it? Then you could verify that its not pushing it down on camera. My drivers door does that sometimes but only on humid days, like it gets sticky then it self heals a few days later. Wonder if its that plastic tab, its not the electronics.

Sorry, I dont think I filmed any before. Mine was totally broken since I got the truck and would never lock. Maybe try spraying some lubricant first and see if it helps.

@@rcilluminati26 Not sure where to spray. Mine locks fine using the key if I really had to. Dumb engineering on that. Door locks are not a new concept yet they found a way to make on that is inherently unstable and built to fail combined with making it a pain to replace. I don't really understand how the actual mechanism works as its hidden in the plastic box. Like the inside doors if you notice have a handle + this little tiny flip out thing near the silver handle. What is that for? There is only one cable so why the dual rotating things on the handle?
