"We'll be back on monday" - "No you won't" Reminds me of a board meeting (kind of) that was held at the company I work for here in Denmark. When we, the people on the floor, was asked if there were some issues, we brought up the issues we had with the amount of licenses available for Microsoft Dynamics, as there was always a shortage. The financial manager then stated: "There are enough licenses. Maybe there are too many employees!" The man was the type that thought that not spending any money at all could keep a company afloat (this was about 12 years ago during the global financial crisis). Well, that one sure as hell came back to bite him in the a**. The day after, he was told that he had 30 minutes to clear his office and be on his way out the door.. The thing is, as the board members sat and heard him say what he did the day before, the decision had to have been made already, you don't descide to fire the financial manager from one day to the other. So they most have sat there thinking: "There'll be one less tomorrow", but they kept it *very* well hidden. But boy, did we have a laugh in the office when we heard the news! :)
