I don't think Future Gohan really works here as a counterpoint, because he lived in a totally different environment to anything our Gohan has ever known. Future Gohan was fighting for his life, there were killer cyborgs razing cities, there was nobody to train with and little free time to train, and adequate food was probably scarce for regular people and even moreso for a fighting half-Saiyan, so the opportunity for growth wasn't really there. Meanwhile, our Gohan had peace, had good food, and had friends and family he could've trained with if he'd so desired, giving him ample chance to grow stronger; but with no pressure to do so, he didn't see a need.

Future Gohan couldn’t get stronger through training because he didn’t know how to train efficiently or effectively. Unlike Goku and Vegeta he couldn’t exploit a martial arts background or zenkai. Btw, besides not having access to healing pods or Senzu beans, he couldn’t exploit Zenkai because you can’t sense the Android’s power. Zenkai work by acclimating to your opponent’s power

That is true. Future Gohan's training is basically whatever Piccolo taught him in the Saiyan saga. That's it. Teen Gohan on the other hand not only has his training with Piccolo but also three years of training with Piccolo and Goku plus a year of training with Goku. He learned how to master SSJ, he learned better control, moves etc. There is a debate whether zenkai boosts were happening by this point. Would Future Gohan get them or not.

For future Gohan, I think it comes down to the fact it has been said time and again that Goku is a genius when it comes to fighting, even being able to take on enemies beyond his level. Gohan does not share the same love of fighting, so on his own he wouldn’t develop the same way he did training with someone who it comes naturally to and can explain how to properly control his power. The other difference, and I think this is often overlooked in Gohan’s character, is that he lacked self confidence. Goku was the one who convinced him he could defeat Cell when he didn’t believe he could. There was no Goku in the future to keep telling him he had the potential to defeat the Androids, all he had was knowing everyone but Trunks was dead and the feeling of insecurity that he wasn’t strong enough to save the others.

The idea that Gohan never stopped training in Broly Second Coming is a misnomer. He's the same Gohan from before the Buu Saga tournament. Gohan just says "and I'm stronger than I was back then" referring to the 1st Broly movie, which he was even after losing power. Gohan didn't need more "training" he needed more time as The Great Saiyaman to not only connect more with his human side but also to help Gohan find his own motivation to get stronger. Gohan after Cell was similar to Goku after defeating the RRA, they both reached a point where they needed to focus on self discovery than rely on the teachings of others.

gohan didn't need the great saiyaman for anything other than comedic relief. he could had gone with "golden warrior" and have bulma make the superhero costume be gohan's usual purple gi, goku's orange gi or a saiyan armor like the one he used to train with his father.

@WilliamWizer The Great Saiyaman allows him to be more goofy, which is more in line with who Gohan is than the Golden Warrior. He went SSJ to protect his identity. @@somebeing803 you are thinking about canon gohan. not about a gohan that trained for years to keep the world safe and continue his father's legacy. if gohan had continued to train, he would be, in a sense, embrace his saiyan roots so being goofy wouldn't be in line with him. did you see future gohan to be goofy? no. he was a warrior. that's what present gohan would be if he had trained.

My Short version: Supreme kai is unable to hold down Gohan so Spopovich and Yamu are unable to take his energy. He beats both of them. They refuse to tell the Z fighters about Babidi's plan and destroy themselves. The Z fighters take longer to find Babidi. Gohan low to medium diffs Dabura. Vegeta goes Majin and fights Goku. Gohan and Supreme kai kill Babidi but don't want to awaken Buu by trying to destroy the egg so they try and stop Goku and Vegeta's fight. Vegeta lost the majin powerup from Babidi's death so he loses to Goku quickly. Gohan and Goku are more than enough to defeat Buu together.

I think in DB, the term “surpass your limits” isn’t talking about your all time limit that you can never overcome. But it’s talking about your CURRENT limits. Like if a lifter could only lift 100 lbs today when going all out, that would be “his limits.” With training, his limits could increase over time to 150, 200, 250, etc. So when a character in DB uses some kind of transformation or technique or has a burst of anger to “surpass their limits,” it’s like the 100 lbs lifter being able to suddenly lift 150 lbs without training in between. It’s a massive, sudden, unexpected jump. But that doesn’t mean they never could have gotten there. It just would have taken more time training.

A good point on why Piccolo and Gohan didn't train with each other during those 7 years even if to maintain Gohan's level of power during the Cell Games. My theory is that Gohan just didn't put enough time to train maintain his power level because of the peace time. Piccolo didn't push it because it was peace time. Me personally, if Gohan did train during those 7 years he could have reached or nearly reached Goku's SSJ3 power. We know SSJ2 Goku was more powerful than SSJ2 Kid Gohan. We know that SSJ3 is 4x over SSJ2. So I think let's say Gohan reaching a power 5x over his Cell Games level isn't out of the question, matching Goku's SSJ3 power level give or take.

I am a Gohan fan myself, and although I like Gohan being the strong, cool character that he is at times, I am ok with him staying with his family and if that makes him weaker, then so be it. I'm fine with that because that really feels like it fits with his character. Gohan is just way too human. Gohan was born on earth and raised in human customs and things like that, so he will definitely be more human, and it shows that when he is portrayed as weaker and with his family, because that's what he wants. He wants to be with his family. He wants to be a dad and be there for, and with his daughter as she grows up, he wants things that most other people want. It's like that little instance in the Goku Black Arc where Future Trunks met Adult Gohan and his family and he was sad that he didn't have that, because as cool as they are in fighting and gaining more and more power and just being cool and bad-@$$ you have to remember that they are still people. They have wants and desires and other things, because from their perspective, Gohan and Future Trunks, you always have to fight, you always have to struggle, you lose things and it's hard to just go on, they have losses and life is hard and they wish for their lives to get better. Looking at it that way and in that constantly fighting lifestyle there is barely any peace, if any, and you don't have time for yourself or your family, and you will have a lot of pressure on you and you will be struggling all of the time and so many things where you will feel overwhelmed, and you think about your family, and that things could be better and wishing that it wasn't this way and that things were different, having all this weight on your shoulders and just to a point where you can't be with your family and all of you cannot find really any real happiness if you're not there, and then it just gets to a point where you are overwhelmed and it feels like you want to quit, like you are sick and tired, you're tired of being sick, you are sick of being tired. That is what this would most likely do, maybe not everyone, but it is that way with Future Trunks and with Gohan, because of the pacifist that he is I feel like this is how he will be. That is why I am ok with Gohan being weaker and being with his family and things like that because that portrays his character very well, because that is literally who Gohan is, even in Dragon Ball Z when he was taken by Raditz and Raditz talked about him being born for battle and that he could have been a great fighter, but he said that he didn't want to fight, or when Goku made him fight Cell, Gohan didn't really want to fight either, even though he got more powerful because before he turned Super Saiyan 2 he was literally crying in his battle with Cell because he didn't want what was happening. It actually is alined with Gohan's character and who Gohan is as a person, because I am not going to lie, I was one of those people who, when I saw teen Gohan in the Buu Saga I was like everyone else in thinking, "This isn't my Gohan!" Or "They ruined Gohan!" And things like that, but as I said from looking back on Dragon Ball Z and everything, when he is not angry, through everything from Raditz and Cell and everything Gohan was not about that life he has a soft nature and that is who he is and who he has been during his whole life even in the Buu Saga. It actually alines with Gohan's character and that is why I love him, because it shows that he is different from Goku and Vegeta and he is a more down to Earth, human, individual, who is just living and trying to achieve happiness and other things in life, and that is what makes him a great character in my opinion, not his power, just his personality and characteristics of a good man who shows that even though he has the power he is still a person, not a warrior per say. It gives you that human, peace loving side to Dragon Ball with Gohan. Now, I am not pushing for Gohan to be weaker. I am not doing that at all. Would I want Gohan to become stronger? Absolutely! I love Gohan. I love when he is strong and bad-@$$, and I wish that he would balance work, family, and training and become strong and relevant again. I am just saying that if they do make Gohan weaker, then I would not be mad about that because that is who Gohan is, and it fits with his character. That is what I think about Gohan. Tell me what you all think.

my headcannon that allows me to justify the events of resurrection f and super hero is that Guru's boon unleashed Gohan's inner potential strength and ki. This would mean that Gohan will always have as much ki and raw strength as his body can output, eliminating the need for physical strength training. If this is the case, then Gohan would basically only grow more skilled as a fighter, and at controlling/outputting ki. The reason future Gohan would be so much weaker is because he never got the training with Goku, the most skilled fighter in the series at that point, and therefore couldn't utilize the ki that his unleashed inner potential supplied within him. Then into the Buu saga, Elder Kai's boon unlocked Gohan's potential, allowing him to draw power greater than what his potential's limits would normally grant, essentially removing the limit from how strong he can grow. This uncapping of potential then interacts with the Guru power, giving Gohan the unprecedented increase we see. Gohan's new power is an infinite swelling of ki and raw strength that grows alongside his own ability to utilize it. I think that this justifies why Gohan no longer gains Zenkai boosts, as his strength is no longer related to his actual bodily capabilities. He stops training and his skills get rusty, and he therefore becomes weaker, losing to revived Frieza in turn. Later he does like a week's worth of training with Piccolo and gains a better grasp on ki and battling dragon ball super level characters, and it becomes feasible for his mind to manage the output of super level ki and so he can hold his own in the tournament of power. Add onto that a bit of training in secret for super hero, and getting really angry, and Gohan's infinite power cheat gives him so much ki that he has to go Gohan blanco. It is certainly not stated in the story, but i don't think it's contradicted either. Plus it helps me cope with dragon ball super's writing so I like it.

Gohan having a mastered SSJ3 is a such a cool idea. The way I always envisioned a mastered version is that it's almost the same functionally but instead of drawing out all of the power currently available to you at once, it draws out all of your latent potential at once. Would have been a fitting ultimate form of the series this way imo since it will always be the strongest a character will get. Which in turn would be amazing for a character like Gohan.

I all took it as future Gohan was so weak because of not getting to try with Goku before he died. So he never got the idea of how to train as a true Saiyan and to look beyond super Saiyan. Also because of his mental state. Now main line Gohan I think if he kept training would try to master ssj2 and probably would be 50%-75% stronger than ssj3 Goku.

I personally think that Gohan wouldn't have found any new forms on his own in the 7 year time skip. But I do think he would have tried to master SS2 the same way he mastered SS1 with Goku. I don't know that it would have yielded higher power or not (that's something that would depend on who's writing the story), but it would have likely let Gohan train his stamina to insane levels. The reason Future Gohan didn't get as strong, was he didn't have any of the training with Goku that current timeline Gohan did. So Future Gohan never mastered Super Saiyan completely, and he never got SS2 like his current self. He didn't even have Piccolo around to help him, so he ended up not knowing how to get stronger other than training and just building power, which he seemed he couldn't do very well on his own. If Goku or Piccolo had trained him similarly to the current timeline, Future Gohan probably would have been much stronger.

Goku seems to think Gohan would be about twice as strong as he was against Cell before he realizes Gohan has actually gotten weaker. That seems about right unless Gohan discovered Super Saiyan 3, which he had no reason to think existed. Characters generally train towards the last opponent they know about, hence why Goku took 3 years just to reach a power of 400 while the rest of the Z-fighters only took 1 year of the same training to reach a high-enough power to easily beat Raditz and why Piccolo gained so much power relative to Goku during the 3 years training for the androids. This also plays a big part in why Gohan and even Krillin and Roshi were able to get so strong in the latter half of Super. Gohan was already the strongest being in the universe as far as everyone knew, so even with the gains of growing from childhood to adulthood, he wouldn't have been training towards anything, which would have kept him from becoming anything close to how strong Ultimate Gohan was. He would be able to 1-shot Dabura and absolutely dominate Majin Vegeta, but he'd probably still not be strong enough to beat Fat Buu and he'd be less than half as strong as SSJ3 Goku. If he then went through the same ritual to unlock his Ultimate form after spending those 7 years training, his Ultimate form would itself likely have been much stronger like it would be in Super. The idea that a character can ever reach the limit of their potential has been completely discarded by Dragon Ball. Multiple times it has been suggested by Goku or his opponent that he has reached his limit, only for him to just unlock a new form and for his base to even become more powerful than his maximum transformation was when he supposedly hit his limit. For Gohan to hit a limit in which he can never get any stronger would never make sense in a world with super saiyan god, blue, and all the 'ultra' forms, and it would necessitate Goku and Vegeta also having these kinds of limits and those limits being below Gohan's limits.
@reversalmushroom

By "far beyond the limits", I don't think it means a fixed number, a hard cap that Gohan can never go beyond, but that people can only use a small percentage of the power they possess, so it's a multiplier and not a wall. So Gohan could always get stronger and stronger than Ultimate Gohan, but he could only access a small portion of his power. I mean, when he got his potential unlocked on Namek, he still got stronger. A lot of the Z-fighters who see incredible training gains only do so when they have an opponent they're trying to beat, and since Gohan doesn't naturally train religiously like Goku&Vegeta, he would've treated this training more like going to the gym and wouldn't have gotten nearly as proportionately stronger as Goku did and certainly wouldn't have gotten as much stronger as he did training to beat Cell. I think he would only be a few times stronger. I feel comfortable saying he'd be at least 4x stronger (5x as strong?), which would put him somewhat above SS3 Goku, but I don't know if I think he would equal Super Buu. Unlike Goku who seeks out new masters and experiments, Gohan only learns things taught to him by people he already knows, so I don't think he'd unlock Super Saiyan 3; I think he'd have a Super Saiyan 2 that's stronger than Goku's Super Saiyan 3. If Gohan had trained for 7 years as if the world depended on it, he would be an absolute monster; he would be over half as strong as SS1 Vegito, and keep in mind that base Vegito was fighting evenly with Buuhan. God, imagine him getting his potential unlocked by the elder Supreme Kai on top of that; he would bitch slap SS3 Vegito.

With all the knowledge he gained from his father from their htc training and the experience he got after fighting Cell, he’d be substantially stronger than he was at the start of the Buu saga. Would he be around ultimate Gohan’s level? Possibly. Maybe higher. He only got as strong as he did under 10 times gravity and with a really strong sparring partner. He could’ve really benefited from higher gravity settings. The other thing is a sparring partner. Vegeta was the second strongest since Goku decided to remain in otherworld. He probably wouldn’t have wanted to train with Gohan. If anything they’d have brief matches and exchange training tips, but nothing close to what he and his father went through. Piccolo was number 3. Piccolo could’ve gotten much stronger, but not enough to push Gohan anywhere (unless he got his potential unlocked like in dbsh). He could always advance his martial arts skills with Roshi, Yamcha, Krillen and Tien, but as far as sparring, they aren’t really pushing him even in base. His only choice would be going solo with a gravity machine. Vegeta had a great lead in the early Android arc, but without a sparring partner, he peaked before his second session in the HTC training. Gohan would’ve grown tremendously. If he decided to use his second day in the htc, he’d be vastly stronger. At that point he’d slow down, but wouldn’t grow weaker. After training for seven years without a sparring partner, under higher gravity settings, polishing his martial arts abilities and mastering ss2 at the very least, he’s stronger than ss3 Goku and Gotenks. He’s definitely superior to super Buu if fat Buu wasn’t already taken care of. If Buu was taken out before he absorbed anyone, the only warrior capable of giving Gohan a hard time would be Gogeta or vegito. Even then, they might make him even stronger if he puts his mind to it.

I feel like the reason gohan made progress before the events of super hero saga was because hes trained with goku and piccolo for a long time so he has something to use as a blueprint for his own training hence why he wasnt too rusty. Meanwhile future Gohan didn't get that luxury hence why his training didn't yield as much result and in buu saga Gohan forgot about training to live a normal life and i feel piccolo didn't want to disturb that, so i agree with you if gohan kept up his training even if super buu happened and he absorbed gotenks gohan would've come out on top eventually and defeated super buu gotenks absorbed

I don't think a Future Gohan comparison works, but not because of the purely headcanon reasons that people tend to give. But rather, Future Gohan's situation is very clearly that of the narrative taking precedence to internal consistency of the story. And that narrative is very compelling and why Trunks is such a beloved character, but Future Gohan's situation is NOT internally consistent with not only what we know about Gohan, but also with what we know about the rest of the DB world.

Let's say Gohan spends his free time balancing his academic pursuits and training with Piccolo. Cuz I don't think there's anyone else he'd train with other than Goten as we get closer to the Buu Saga, and that would help Goten more than Gohan. His training would be far less intense than Vegeta's or Goku's, but his base power should still be leaps ahead of both. I don't think he'd ever figure out a new form though, he'd likely think Super Saiyan 2 or "Ascended Super Saiyan" is the strongest form a saiyan can have. Which really, it might just end up a situation where Majin Buu gets instantly revived, and we'd just get Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan vs Majin Buu, before it either goes back to how it actually happened, or they defeat Buu and Vegeta gets his rematch with Goku.

I think he would have mastered his SS2 form to basically match the power of canon-Gohan's Ultimate form - but with sharpened battle instincts and possibly new techniques due to training consistently. Even with any perceived stamina drain of a Mastered SS2 state - I would still favor this hypothetical SS2 Gohan vs his canon Ultimate self due to the 2 advantages I just mentioned. After all, Ultimate Gohan is just a reflection of how strong Gohan could have been if he had kept up his training up until that point, right? It's basically a battle between 2 similar beings; 1 being spoonfed the power and 1 actually having worked for it.

For starters he'd have a better grasp on SSJ and SSJ2 and be able to use the forms with ease. Instead of struggling to turn SSJ2 at all. Gohan certainly wouldn't be as powerful as Ultimate, but he'd still be above Goku (there is a huge gap between SSJ3 Goku and Ultimate Gohan). He'd wipe the floor with Dabura, meaning no chance for Majin Vegeta - irrelevant of how Vegeta feels about things. Which in turn means no Buu, as Buu hatched thanks to Vegeta. But even if Buu did hatch (because PLOT), I'd put SSJ2 Gohan closer to SSJ3 Gotenks or Super Buu levels. The thing about trianing is that it massively varies; not just on having a sparring partner or a mentor, but also on what the character is aiming for. Their intent. Having a stronger characters level to aim for seems to give better results than just wanting to be better in general. Characters tend to have their biggest improvements when they have a tangible goal in mind. Like the heroes training for the saiyans and getting to roughly Raditz level. They witnessed Raditz level and knew they needed to be stronger, but only managed to get marginally stronger than him. Similarly; getting to at least Mecha Frieza / future Trunks levels in order to face the androids. And Vegeta and Goku had SSJ2 Gohan to aim for over those 7 years - they only just surpassed that. That's not to say there wouldn't be any improvements over the 7 years if he didn't have something to aim for. I just think it would make a bigger difference.

~12:50 what if you're wrong about all this? see, Gohan in the original canon had slacked off on his training. so when Elder Kai unlocks all his hidden powers, he takes him beyond his limits. but, this Gohans limits would be far lower, due to his lax training. if he kept pushing and pushing himself in training, he would've raised his limits. possibly even shattering his limits on his own, without needing Elder Kais intervention. this "Limit Breaker Gohan" should have a far FAR higher ceiling than that of original canon Gohan. and he should be far stronger as a result. how much stronger? well it really depends on his training. even if he trained only twice a week (on the weekends) with Vegeta in the gravity chamber, that should be enough. but if he really wanted to push himself, he could train with him 6 days a week. for 6 years. he would be so much stronger, and he would push Vegeta beyond his limits as well. as someone else stated, if Gohan trained during the time skip, there wouldn't be a Buu Saga. Gohan and Vegeta would just 0 diff everything in their way

It would make sense for Gohan to master SSJ2 or at least attempt to. He might have another transformation up his sleeve after 7 years of training however unlikely. Where would he have the knowledge from to reach Mystic Gohan? He might sense there is a form beyond SSJ2 which would be SSJ3 and not his Mystic form. But then again Vegeta also peaked at SSJ2. So maybe he also thought that was the pinnacle of the saiyan race. Goku did achieve SSJ3 somehow but training without the limits of his mortal body did help him in various ways. My guess would be after 7 years of casual training Gohans strongest from would still be SSJ2 but he would be above Vegeta and Goku in their respectable SSJ2 forms because he had more time to master it. Either way Gohan would make quick work of Dabura and i would wish Babidi good luck against three SSJ2's without Buu.

If he trained serious and used the methods available (I.e Gravity Training with partners, specifically Vegeta & Piccolo), I could definitely see Gohan being stronger than Goku wether or not he achieved SSJ3 (though I personally think he would) and using what his father taught him, I’ve no doubt he would master SSJ2 like he did with regular SSJ, with this the Buu Saga along with GT & Super change quite a bit.

Well if he did continue to train, I think he would've surpassed both his father and Bejita. Maybe not by much but defiantly not getting weaker like he did. Future Gohan was weak because he had no one to guide him, and I don't think he would've gotten Zenkai boosts very often. The androids probably played with him to a point in which he is injured but not deadly injured. Only in the movies continuity Gohan is proven to have trained and become stronger. In the 2nd Broly movie which is supposed to be a month before the 25th TB, Gohan is holding his own against Broly when in the original he couldn't even scratch him. Also in GT he preformed well for the most part, if it was present Gohan G. Rild would've wipe the floor with him for example.

Well he might or might not have been strong enough to fully take out Buu depending on just how HARD and how consistently the trained. After all, at the end of the Cell Saga he was at a power level where he legitimately had to worry about accidentally damaging the planet. So going all out in his training without a seperate space he could us like the Hyperbolic Time Chamber would be impossible. That would limit what the type and the intensity of the training he could realistically do to improve himself. But at the very least I am confident a Gohan that kept up with his training would have been equal to or greater than SSJ2 Goku and more than powerful enough to kill Dabura with ease.

@@Gohan9112 No it wasn't. I don't think Goten was even planning to enter at that point. Gohan (after informing the Z gang about the tournament) says he hasn't trained a while, that he would need to train hard, even if it means skipping school, as he would like to win the tournament. Chi-Chi on the next 2 pages gives her blessing to Gohan and says that Gohan and Goku will win 1st and 2nd prize as they need the money. She even says he can catch up on school at a later time. And right then is where Gohan asks Goten to help him train. So Goten was helping Gohan get into shape for the tournament. After Goten goes SSJ for the first time, and upon Videl's arrival at Gohan's house, Gohan tells Goten that he has a lot of potential and if he trains hard that he too could also enter. What if Gohan trained to ssj3 over then 7 years and then gets the Ultimate unlock? Would Ultimate Gohan be stronger than the canon? I feel like "potential and beyond limits" is like a moving goal post. Where because of the experience and training Gohan has in the main timeline, it makes his maximum potential higher than that of Future Gohan who had limited "quality" training. Because everyone is killed there are no masters left to train Future Gohan well.

I think the most realistic view here is Gohan basically being a stronger Super Saiyan 2. Perhaps as much as a power somewhere halfway between Goku's SSJ2 and SSJ3. Most characters don't seem to get much stronger with training unless there is a specific end goal, especially in the form of a villain.

my bet is that gohan would be a SS3 without the drawback shown by goku. with his academic mind, it wouldn't be hard for gohan to figure that, if there's a SS2, there could be a SS3. I'm unsure if he would train with vegeta or with piccolo (there are good reasons to pick either) and would use the chamber of time or a gravity room but he would be a lot stronger than when he defeated cell. I have my doubts about this gohan being able to defeat fat buu before having his potential released but it wouldn't surprise me. truth to be told, goku admited that in his SS3 he could had defeated fat buu.

i disagree with some point. Future gohan never knows his hidden potential, while present gohan already awaken ssj2 and had already been training with Goku long enough that he knows how to properly train even without a proper sparring partner. Future gohan has none of that, and was only a kid at the time without knowing how to properly trained. Also, saiyan potential increase as they get stronger. So, i think if gohan never stop training for 7 years, he might not achieve a new form or ssj3, but he should be strong enough to get close to ssj3 even though he only goes ssj2. Plus, gohan still have to study under chichi, so gohan training wont be as effective. Piccolo didnt train gohan during the 7 years is probably because of chichi. Remember when piccolo said "cant train the kids when their mother is there" during trunk and gotenk training. so if a stronger gohan get his potential unlock by grand elder kai, he might be a stronger ultimate gohan.

Gohan could perfect SSJ2 in a similar vain that Vegeta and Future Trunks would go on to. Vegeta might be more fixated on trying to surpass Gohan after some what moving on after Goku's death. Goku may edge out Gohan though only in SSJ3. That is atleast my more grounded take on the idea.

I think Gohan would have achieved SS3 and would have easily crushed Dabura...though because Gohan was stronger, the energy they took from Gohan and the Battle between Yakon, Dabura, and Pui probably would have been enough to awaken Majin Buu without the fight with Majin Vegeta...Majin Vegeta might still happen since he would have been enraged at the fact that Gohan and Goku would have vastly surpassed him. SS2 then SS3 Gohan would have battled Buu...As Gohan was about to defeat buu, he drops out of SS3 to base since he didnt realize the stamina drain. This still leads to Goku and Vegeta stopping their fight and the Vegeta final explosion. Gohan might still get his Ultimate form which is far stronger than the one in the main timeline. This Gohan beats Super Buu rather easily...Buutenks gives him a bit of trouble but runs out of fusion time and gets completly clobbered by Gohan. I think we still get a Vegetto here since even when Gohan blows up Buu, he might not get all of him and gets absorbed. This causes Buuhan to become insanly strong...possibly putting him on the level of Super Vegetto and pushes Vegetto to go SS2. Gohan's extra strength could also have swayed Goku to grab him and dende instead of hercule. In the final battle we get 3 v 1 against kid buu. Goku first...and he runs out of power. Vegeta second ... and he gets clobbered. Gohan third...and Gohan totally decemates kid buu. Since Goku as SS3 was able to match kid Buu for a while in the original cannon, and Ultimate Gohan stated to be stronger than SS3 with no stamina drain, this version of Gohan would be far superior then this kid buu. We still might get Uub since none of them would have the ability to truly kill Buu...so I could see either Gohan throwing kid buu into the Spirit Bomb or we just get a similar scene with them wishing back Goku's energy, possibly with Gohan helping push the spirit bomb onto Buu
