Laundry Room Cabinets | EPIC Room Reveal!

As many of you probably know we recently added on to our house and we finally finished the laundry room cabinets, epic laundry room reveal time!

We manufacture a lot of laundry at our house so we wanted the laundry room to be an epic usable space that was very functional and comfortable to work in. We opted for a LOT of cabinets for storage and some beautiful HD laminate counters for folding and just looking awesome! We added a stainless steel drop in sink to help get rid of any persistent stains and an amazing stacking laundry basket shelf, video soon, to allow a decent amount of backup and/storage without making a terrible mess of the space!

Looks great. Since I have access to a mill, I used to make my hinge placement jigs out of plexiglass, which also involved having to glue an edge piece onto the template (as well as needing multiple templates for various hinges). The Kreg hinge jig is a blessing.

I wanted to know how to cover a small gap between a floor cabinet and a pantry cabinet that comes up before installing a countertop. I came across this video. I love your creativity, your attention to detail, you are an artist. I agreed with a previous review about how envious I got when I saw this.

That turned out very nice. I actually prefer the cabinet doors to be inset like that.

Just a small tip for the sink cut out. After marking the cutout on the surface, drill a hole, large enough for your finger to slide through, in the waste material. This allows you to support the waste as you make the final cut with the jigsaw, instead of supporting it, most of the time, awkwardly from below.

Beautiful job Tyler! I like the space-saving design of the vertical laundry basket rack. However I know from personal experience that designing a system of organization that works for me, doesn’t guarantee it will be embraced and adopted by the rest of my family!
