1:59 True, especially in Drum and Bass. Most of the modern drum and bass I heard today focuses more on the synths and stuff and the drums just sounds too simple and boring to me, sometimes basses as well, which kind of going away from the literal meaning of its genre, drum and bass. (Most of dnb I heard today, I describe it as oversimplified drums and basses and overcomplexed, boring sounding synths) It's so hard to find the best sounding dnb that matches my personal preferences and taste. My music taste in dnb is different, and I'm still currently shaping my taste to find and imagine my own style of Drum and Bass with some bunch of inspirations.
