@islicedice41394 жыл бұрын
Keep your arms up, stare at the wall in front of you. Slowly look up towards the ceiling. Keep the same motion, lean back slightly and look at the edge between the ceiling and wall behind you. Make sure your arms are up and ready to catch you. Keep staring and follow that wall behind you, looking for the edge between that wall and the floor, and eventually, stare at the floor behind you. You'll have done it without even thinking about doing it. That's how I learnt the back bend, and it's how I've always gone about teaching people. Stay safe and good luck guys!

Thank you so much for teaching me how to fall into a bridge. I couldn't kick over, but I did learn to fall into a bridge. To anybody else who reads this, do not try kicking off the wall. Instead of kicking off the wall you end up putting pressure on your back. It is better to just try kicking off of a raised surface.

Practice your Backbends on your bed. It's also a way to not get hurt, but if you think you are ready, use pillows. And remove one pillow at a time. Another tip is to use a wall, walk your hands do it. Hold it for 5 seconds, then walk your hands back up. This should help you do your backbend. ⬇ Reminder! ⬇ Practice makes perfect.

Some people in the comments write the tips are bad and are scam. I'm a very clumsy person and I've just done a back walk (or kick if you wish) over following his tips (arms wide) from a 15 cm elevation (for legs). The good thing about this video is that pigmie is not especially flexible (same as most men) and back walk/kick over is usually taught by women who have a level of back flexibility merely inaccessible for most men, so their tutorials make absolutely no sence for us, unlike this one. Thanx Lucas!

Okay so I'm motivated to learn some type of flip this year. Preferably side or backflip. Im a little chicken shit ill only attempt to throw one in a big snow bank...only front and side. Even with all that to break my fall i still won't try a backflip lol. I don't have any pads, cushions, nothing, no spotters, no help, just ground that's soft in certain areas, youtube and willpower. Physically im capable ive been training parkour for 3 years now, my legs aren't going to snap i can take impact from drops waist height or higher going into a stride on one leg, my flexibility could be a lot better, i don't train my core much but its got enough strength for plenty of things, my upper body strength is pretty much the same way i can easily go into a handstand and feel light and floaty...just can't balance it yet. I have some experience rotating around just nothing in the air upside down without assistance. I know this is a lot of details but im just letting anyone who reads this know whats up so they know what advice to give other than "just do it!" It would be much appreciated for tips, hacks, idc if it takes 2 months to work up to landing my very first one standing, then from there ill get over the fear, then work on correcting my form, then perfecting and drilling it.

Just practice doing forward rolls and then doing dive rolls and jumping into them. Then when you feel comfortable, try do a front flip without hands. The real key is to jump as high as you can. As you start to feel more comfortable doing that, try to think about punching your feet down as you come around. A bit thing I struggled with is jumping up and not forward. I can’t help you with back flips because I’m still too scared of hurting my neck
