Very pleased to see a new video from you! And yes, native English speakers really do add '-y' to nouns to turn them into adjectives in informal speech. "Gosh, that was a bit garlicky"; "It was nice, but just a bit too ... chocolatey, you know?"

Thank you so much, Cristian. ❤ A few days, that I discovered your channel, I'm enjoying each your class. Now I'm studeing Spanish around 11 month and all you told about English, also acceptable for Spanish. You told about logical and illogical aspects. I'm livind in Israel about 22 years and more illogical language that Hebrew is, you cann't find in the world.😂 But "playing" with words and contexts - was and still is the most joyful game for me.

The perfect aspect suggests the word "after" to me. "This boy is after saying a bad word, teacher" (James Joyce). In standard English, this would be "This boy has just said a bad word." Yes, the perfect aspect is used when the "deed" was done before something: before some other event, before the time specified, before then or before now. If the "deed" is/was in the past, but the time is not specified, we can use either PRES PERF or PAST SIMPLE. Both "Atticus, did you see Mr. Arthur?" (Harper Lee) and "Atticus, have you seen Mr. Arthur?" are fine to me. Other factors, such as whether the time is complete, whether the artist is dead or alive, relevance to the present, and the word order can affect which verb form is more likely to be used. Compare "I have never ..." (PRES PERF) and "Never did I ..." (PAST SIMPLE).

About articles - I heard (and like) the idea of A- and T-words. If you can say about the context words ALL, ALIKE, ABOUT, AROUND - then the article should be "a/an". If you can say THIS, THAT, THOSE, THESE - then place "the".
