Going down the road is easy. Practice those slow speed maneuvers, uturns and the like. Clutch control, and rear brake are your friend. :) practice practice practice. And practice you some emergency stops as well. Better to do those things under controlled conditions. Be safe out there.

First time rider with only about 20hrs of riding time. I’ve only stuck to the neighborhoods and school parking lot. I’m riding an 09 Suzuki sfv650 gladius. I’ve dropped her twice once not my fault lady decided to turn into my lane at stop sign and second my fault I made a wide turn and ran along side the curb and damaged my water pump cover which I’m fixing soon.

Your r3 looks like the littler version of my r6. I started out on a r3 around may. logged around 3 Miles and upgraded after taken a few courses and having a private instructor. I recommend if you havent taken a MSF course that you do soon. It will help you alot, and it will help you with insurance too.

The first thing I learned when I started riding is that the clutch has all the power when you have it pulled in as in you could rev the hell out of it but as long as you have your clutch pulled in and ease it out you aren't going to until you slowly let out the clutch to the bite zone. so pretty much how not to stall from a stop.

I took my basic rider course never driving anything with a manuel. Even dirt bike. I was the only one in the class that never did, so I was nervous as hell. Still passed it a year ago but still have no bike🤣

supaman8686 I got it from Broward Motorsports and no they didn’t, it was the normal fees you’d pay at pretty much any dealer. The only thing was that they didn’t include the tag in their final price and I didn’t find out until after I signed the papers. I had to pay $190 for the tag once it came in so they kinda got me with that.
