Before I took the MSF course, I thought I had a pretty good grasp on what it's like to ride. In the first minute of riding a motorcycle, that got completely thrown out the window. I'm going to watch this entire series, even though I have already been out on the road. There's bound to be at least something I can learn here.

A bit late on the comment. But after my life went down hill I got very invested in my interest in sportbikes. Recently been looking at a Ninja 400 for my first bike. And as a 5'2 rider any bike will be a struggle for me so I've been getting so much insight on everything on bikes including how to get on and off when you're a short rider like myself. This video was extremely eeducational; every time I watch a video, I'm more confident about passing the MSF.

At the end of these 5 part videos, I'll let u know if i enjoyed the "ride" :)

April 2024, I'm in South Africa and in my late 30's (going through the study material for the Learner License). NOBODY, I repeat, NOBODY from this country has put up a learning series like this yet. So this will definitely be helpful. Our equivalent to the MSF Course is only achievable after one obtains their license (although the riding license test from our Department of Transport isn't too difficult to obtain) as well as some actual riding experience - which I don't believe is entirely fair. I want to ride to commute, explore, journey, experience the world of motorized 2-wheelers (I have no idea why I left it this long - especially when my late father was a rider, but better late than never I suppose). I love and appreciate the biker community as well as they are wonderful human beings. Motorcycle riding is also highly therapeutic and since I'm highly introverted, this can be my medicine so to speak. I'm watching till the end and saved your playlist for repeats. One can never stop learning. Thank you Chase

Just found this playlist and it’s quite the relief, I’ve just picked up a EX300 Ninja for my first bike, was told 125’s aren’t brilliant to start on because of the sheer lack of (get out of trouble) power, my bike is 32bhp and I’ve ridden an R6 for the first time on a bike and instantly knew it’d kill me, I’ve driven a car for almost 2 years and I need to ease myself into the bike world, need to book my CBT and direct access and then I can learn to ride my bike!

Just bought my 2024 R7 today! New rider (I had a Ryker 900) so I’ve never used a clutch. Went on a test ride today and oh my god. It was literally terrifying but so much fun. I have really bad anxiety so it was kinda intense. I knew what to do but when I sat on the bike I forgot everything and stalled haha I got it up to 2nd gear though! I gotta say though the torque is kinda intimidating and there’s no way I could see myself on anything with more power. Never been this dedicated to learn something. Really hoping I can develop the muscle memory

I'm new, and I plan to start on a husqvarna 2024 vitpilen 401. Just under 400cc, just under 80nms of torque behind about 370lbs with fuel, I'm about 200/225lbs. It might be a touch punchy starting out but I'll adjust with practice. It haslow seat, and I'm a short ass at 5'6", so that's been a huge factor in choosing all this. Top 3 for me were engine specs, ergonomics, and cost. For a current year, factory fresh motorcycle, the price tag of $5,899.00 USD seems damn near achievable for someone who has never once possessed enough money to even consider *thinking* about buying my own vehicle. Honestly, I love the aesthetic of it too. Its just the right balance of retro and modern cafe racer styles, of which I am a huge fan, especially scrambler bikes. Its just a sexy way to design a bike. So yeah. Im excited, and really hoping i can get some overtime or have people take some weight off my shoulders so i can make this happen before winter😅
