Is it possible to customize a 5.5 or 6.5 neckbrace for a go-kart?

Hi! If I have to take the measurement for my brace, should I measure with the chest protector on or without?

If you wear a chest protector, you should have your brace fitted whilst wearing the protector.

My chest is at he max of the S/M size. Should I try the L/XL instead when between two sizes?

​@@apicofactoryracingthere is no dealer here. Got an L/XL now but it seems way too big as it hangs to the back. Is it normal that your chin can touch the front of the brace?

And I mean my actual chin. It touches the brace when I push down on my helmet from the back

Definitely not (chin touching the front of the brace - sounds like it's not fitting correctly, I'm not sure which country you are in, though I would visit a store to have your brace checked and you may need another size. @@flowstateofmind

Yes it does Daniel, most armours have integration points to accommodate neck braces.

@@dylanthevillian-the old 2.5 (2022 & before) is a roost guard only and does not offer impact protection. The new (2023) will, we have not received this in the U.K. yet. They both have areas to incorporate the neck brace, front and back.
