It happened to me, but on the contrary. I met the congregation at 5 years old and at 16 I left, and went to nightclubs of my time, (now I'm 45) so, when I get married, return to Jehovah, because what I saw outside, in the I DONT liked. When I was born my first child I thought, what good education will I leave when I die, my stories of when I was at parties? So return to Jehovah because he gives us a good education through his congregation.

Miarim, does your congregation disfellowship it's members if they express that the GB doesn't always dispense truth? And is not inspired by God? And if they do not, if your daughter needs a blood transfusion and to save her life you will approve it, will they want to meet with you in the "back room"? What if you allow her to go to a birthday party of a friend from school, or join Girl Scouts, or later on she goes to college to pursue her interest in marine biology? Will your decisions be respected and allowed? Basically, will your child be forced into baptism - a contractural agreement with a publishing company, before she is of the age of consent, and if she changes her mind later, will your elders force you to shun her? Food for thought.

Yes, now tell me where I say that? If you talk about the speech the girl says about nail painting, I can assure you that there is NO such a speech, and in front of anyone I can repeat it. I have known the congregation for 40 years and have never heard anything like it. . And if the brother who gave the speech, may have been wrong, like any human being, maybe little girls can not paint their nails, but that has NEVER been said in a speech, those things are left to parents, if you talk about Personal arrangement and how it is appropriate to dress to go to our meetings and preach, but I paint my nails the color that makes me want, make up my face and no one told me not to!

As for the blood transfusions, they have told us many times that they are things that remain to OWN CONSCIOUSNESS, they will not expel you for something that you want to do to save your life, because indfinidad of times they have told us, that people are Blind and deaf is something else, no one will expel you for committing a sin unless you are repentant, and say, I will continue to do it and I do not care what you say, you have to remember that to Jehovah nobody deceives you and if you are sinful In penitent, then you deceive yourself, to God no one deceives you.

I left at the age of 23, almost 24 and went straight into a relationship for 3-31/2 years. Now single, this is my first year on my own and I am so happy to see other level headed Ex JW's speak out about this. I've subbed and even made my own video to try and reach others. Life does get better. Like Terri said, it took me years to want to reach out to other "apostates". Thank you for posting this, I send my encouragement all the way from California.

Yes that's awful but if you want to get saved and go to heaven you must believe in the true JESUS from the Bible! The JW's deny the deity of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST - this is deadly: if you believe that our LORD s only a created being you can NOT be saved!!! JESUS CHRIST is GOD, see John 1! HE always existed with the FATHER and the HOLY SPIRIT = the GODHEAD or Trinity. Thank JESUS for paying for your sins on the cross and HIS resurrection on the 3rd day!!! It must come from the bottom of your heart. Listen to great evangelists lke Dr. John Ankerberg and Dr. David Reagan and their guests.

Thank you for your experience! Happy for your freedom. I joined at age 22, after years of being disgusted with other religions. It was different and warm at first. I started fading 2.5 years ago and been out almost one year👏👏👏 I left bcz of the mind control, don’t really know why I stayed bcz I was always talking with elders how I didn’t agree with so much written that is beyond what is written. I did experience being u sure if it was ok by God to leave but once I saw the faithful slave is a parable (John 12:41) I was good! No depression or sadness, just HAPPY and I actually learn more from the Bible since I am reading on my own and not misguided by their talks and literature. My heart and prayers go out to all those young and old. I hope with all of you activists that they find the courage to leave and know they are not alone

Someone correct me if I’m wrong Because I’m not 100% sure but don’t the laws in the UK sort of override a minors “right” to refuse blood if their life is endanger? Even if the parents object aren’t doctors supposed to give the minor blood? I know here in the US, though I’m sure it varies in each state most states require a doctor to obtain a court order from a judge in order to give a JW child a transfusion when the parents refuse.
@matthewscott10914 жыл бұрын
❓Is being made “redundant” like what we in the US would call being “laid off”? Meaning you’re terminated (laid off) but it wasn’t your fault (like the company went bankrupt etc) as opposed to, being “fired” which is when you lose your job because of your own alleged mistake (like theft, tardiness, bad performance etc.) Are there different terms in the UK for both like in the US?❓

The only thing I actually agree with about the witnesses is the blood transfusion issue as I have a lot of medical knowledge and having blood transfusions really are not necessary and can, 9 times out of 10, be far more detrimental than beneficial. The sad thing about ex Jews is that all of a sudden they become total believers in other cults such as the medical system cult, as opposed to researching this stuff.

lol! i did that too!! kinda hide behind catholics and other religious people who might ask me stuff at service. the only way i was able to free myself from this was to wanting to defend "the truth" was trying to see what "lies" apostates were saying so i could win the arguement and shit them up haha! i looked through my own literature along with a youtuber called watchtowerexamination who had the literature and was pointing out at passages and pages. and how i never really looked through it with an open mind. so congrats to her on gettibg back on her feet and fighting the abuse. its never a bad decicion or the worst thing to do when leaving an abusive group that treats you like shit even after you were giving your all or best to the church and members. dont let people guilt trip you or try to manipulate you using your own past against you when youve made a choice that has been made up on your own. youre the only one who will be alone with your thoughts at the end of the day and have your own individual opinion. keep staying away from what hurts you in every level and keeps you away from being happy

i wasn't allowed jehovah witness friends, if one came over my father would beat my mother when the friend left, but be special nice to the friend while she was there so no body would believe the abuse suffered in my home. i wasn't allowed "worldly" friends by my mom, the congregation treated me like an outcast cuz parents felt i was most likely to leave the "truth" cuz my dad is worldly-so why take the chance i would be a bad influence on the wonderful jehovah's witness children, who out side of meeting had quite sinister lives but i was the bad apple you see?

T O'Sullivan i know my mom didn't have malice in her heart and parenting from a place of fear the fear was prolly put in her first by her evil mother and later my dad. My dad on the other hand could have just let me have Jehovah witness friends with out beating my mom over it, there was only one or two jehovah's witness families that didn't see us as bad risk of being a bad association, just cuz daddy wasn't a Jehovah's witness. they were just children. not like they were coming over to unmask him. funny thing is my dad had no idea how much more power he would have had if he just became a jehovah's witness they would prolly let him beat me and my mom on site infront of one elder at a time, cuz dada a brother. glad he didn't figure that one out lol

What comes from God brings peace to humans who worship him! > Isaiah 55: 1-13: 1 Come, all who are thirsty, come to the water! Who have no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, take wine and milk without money and without cost! 2 Why continue to spend money on what is not bread, Why spend your wages with what brings no satisfaction? Listen to me carefully and eat what is good, And you will taste the best food. 3 Listen and come to me. Give ear, and you will live, And I without fail I will make with you an everlasting covenant In harmony with the faithful expressions of loyal love to David. 4 See, I made him a witness to the nations, A leader and minister to the nations. 5 See, you will call a nation that does not know, And people of a nation who do not know you shall run to you Because of Jehovah your God, the Holy One of Israel, Because he will glorify him. 6 Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked his way, And the wicked his thoughts; They return to Jehovah, who will have mercy on them, To our God, for he will forgive widely. 8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, And your ways are not my ways, "says Jehovah. 9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven And do not return there without first saturating the earth and make it bring forth and bud, Giving seed to the sowing and bread for eating, 11 So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth. Not return to me without results, But surely realize what is my delight, And without fail fulfill the purpose for which I sent it. 12 For you will go out with joy, And they will be brought in peace. The mountains and the hills will be excited before you with shouts of joy, And the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn will grow the juniper, And instead of the nettle the myrtle will grow. This will bring glory * to Jehovah, It will be an everlasting sign that shall not cease to exist. "

If only people today knew the historical origins of their religion, they wouldn't have followed it, and just studied it as a historical event and subject and nothing more. Judaism has roots from canaanite/sumerian myths. Christianity was a re-translation of Persian Zoroastrianism into Judaism. Islam was a amalgamation of christian and jewish literature, formatted Manichaean theology, and Nabatean religious rituals. Do more research in order to better understand what I am saying.

What do you mean by blind faith?? Elaborate,,
@joanbaczek25757 жыл бұрын
Champion Farrows if there is a tornado and jehovah says don't go under ground jehovah's witnesses would be expected to stand there and wait for jehovah to do something, if any jehovah's witness went under ground anyway he would be looked as an unbeliever. that movie i saw about how the enemy was coming to take over the city like all the other cities, but miraculously and illogically Jehovah kept the enemy from taking the city. even though Jehovah wouldn't do that for the other cities. the movie pissed me off and seemed like i twas written by a 4th grader, and fake. and we are supposed to see it as this glorious example of how we are rewarded with faith--i don't buy it its unrealistic. we are ants to jehovah. can you have a colony of ants and know which ones love you? no. he lives for ever so our 70 years is a blink of an eye to him

joan baczek What?? That doesn't even make sense.. Give me something that JWs believe RIGHT NOW that is NOT in keeping with God's word the bible??
@joanbaczek25757 жыл бұрын
Champion Farrows i never said they dont keep with the bible. i said "blind faith" i think the bible itself expects blind faith. and the bullshit about god using natural disasters to weed out the bad people during Armageddon doesn't make sense. have you ever been through a tornado? hurricane? good and bad has nothing to do with it, good people die, bad people die its random. telling people in 1975 that if they don't get baptized god will kill them don't make sense. telling me i gotta put up with child abuse cuz i don't have two witnesses to it don't make sense.elders expecting my mom to "prove" he cheating when he was beating the shit out of me and my mom(bruises to prove it) but im not good enough to let my mom leave with out facing dis-fellowship instead they want a film of my father bagging some woman from the bar? and back in the 80s that was almost impossible especially if poor. what i said does make sense that movie they put out at the convention was nothing but propaganda. just cuz you dont' agree doesn't mean what i said was wrong, nonsensical or stupid. i got out of the jehovahs witness hot mess by 1987. so i don't have a current example sorry
@joanbaczek25757 жыл бұрын
Champion Farrows all the films that were put out for the conventions in 2016 were all about blind faith. in another film we are supposed to give god glory for washing up sand for construction yet its not gods fault when an innocent life is lost? sorry jehovah cant have it both ways either he is the blame for good and bad or he doesn't get credit for any of it. i don't love a god that would prioritize washing sand up to use to build a kingdom hall and not save a woman from dying in an accident. sorry but the makers of that film made jehovahs witnesses look like assholes. all they had to do is leave out the part about jehovah washing up sand and i would be half as angry.

This girl "suffered" because her Fathers did not know how to tell her, how much Jehovah loves us, and they focused on Armageddon. We must focus on the things that Jehovah gives us immedi- ately, and what we give him is not to wait for the promised Paradise,.is better, to give thanks for what we already have, the sun, the rain, the seas, the beautiful planet, Living in fullness now, but without damaging our body, living in harmony with people and animals, centering our love on the family, if they see that their children are tired do not force them to give what they can not because they have not desided As adults who follow religion. If they are taught but with love, with patience, and to tell them the good and the bad of this world, there is always something good between evil, so let us worship Jehovah, what we give him that is of Heart and not as bound, because God loves, the joyous giver
