Hello Lee, (probably because my second-ever car was a Mk1 bubble Arch 1600 x-flow back in 1973) the Mk1 s are my absolute favourite looking Escort. Mine was originally a modified 1300GT in lime green with a Lotus green side stripe but otherwise a fairly basic conversion. Your car ( along with Craig’s) in my humble opinion, are probably currently the very best and most beautiful Mk1s in the whole of the U.K. -Bless you mate and thanks for sharing your joy with us! 🙏

I agree about the over priced 50 year old switches Lee it’s a total con and waist of money .theres such a lot of thought gone into this build it’s gonna be a really really special one off car . You don’t find many cars rebuilt to this standard and attention that’s for sure , super top job fella 👍

Top class build. Love the attention to detail.. I've found the "chrome" window insert starts cracking after a while on the bends, not the actual plastic but the chrome foil inside the trim.

As I keep saying this is the best escort build out there!! The attention to detail is next level!!! It has been so well thought through and built!!! If you have to replace the windows again go on line a purchase a pair of suction shower handles then you can use them to place a manipulate the glass with ease I build a Ford Pop & that’s what I used

It's a '70's mass produced Ford - they were never great 😖. Mine is actually pretty good , from some angles the reflections make it look worse than it actually is !
