Lego should expand the Speed Champions line to accommodate other kinds of racing vehicles. I'm fairly certain that NASCAR would be a hit in the US, and signing on companies like nissan or lexus would be fantastic for types of vehicles they could utilize.

I love the speed champions line and this is a great little affordable f1 set. I really appreciate the number tile you can change and a second helmet for Kimi, but they don't include a yellow brick for the top of the car if you choose him over vettel.

My biggest gripe with this line is the width. The old Speed Racer sets were able to fit 2 minifigs side by side in the road cars and they were so nice.

It says in the instructions that Sebastian Vettel is the white helmet and Kimi Raikkonen is the black helmet.

Solution to the colored pins: blue pins with stud becomes sand blue, friction pin/axle becomes dark blue. Red two long axle piece and pin with axle hole become brown. All small technic pieces in tan remain tan, and the yellow ones are also tan. This way they still stand out from each other and greyscale pieces, but are not super saturated, becoming less noticeable.

Without the Stickers this car kind of looks a bit like an late 1980ies McLaren to me, don't you think? And yes, I agree with you that it is annoying when LEGO pieces are in bright stand out colours when less intrusive ones are available.

Looks good! Some of the Speed Champion sets strike me as a little dull for kids, but this seems like it would have all-ages appeal. Fun to play with, but good accuracy for enthusiasts.

That is honestly ridiculous. I never had trouble identifying parts in instruction manuals (2007-2012). I didn't even realize what the numbers on the bags meant and dumped all the parts of a 2000+ piece set together.

As a huge F1 fan i am quite dissapionted with this set. The tyres are far too small and need to be wider (maybe they could have printed the Pirelli logo and the stripe on the side of it) And that front wing looks horrible. It looks more like a very bad 2013 front wing remake. But appart from that i sort of like it #TeamVerstappen
