In 2021-2023, I genuinely had such bad anxiety and depression to the point I couldn't even go out without feeling panicked, but what I began to do was tell myself that what I was going out to do was going to be okay, that I'm not going to be sick and that I am strong enough to not let these feelings that are stopping me from enjoying life to take over. I tell myself now that if I am feeling anxious, I should take deep breaths and remember that I am going out to get these things done and to get it over with so I may return home. Also, telling myself that if I still didn't feel okay and still like I wanted to go home in 10 or 20 minutes, I would, and I never had to. Anxiety can be really tricky sometimes, but just remember you are always going to be okay and you overcome whatever is weighing you down because you are strong.

YAYY, the queen posted. Anxiety is seriously no joke, I've struggled with anxiety almost my entire life because of insecurities and just not wanting to get out of my comfort zone, a huge part of it is the the strict house hold I grew up in. I'm getting better and I'm glad to hear that a lot of ppl share the same story and in the end we're all working through it! Thank you lena for another amazing video I'm so excited to watch 💗🖤

I'm finally getting out of that "what will other people think" phase. I feel like it's because after I moved out, I lost touch with most of the "friends" that would always make me feel so insecure about myself. It does make me sad to think of the life I could have had and all the things I missed out on, but I'm trying to focus on the fact that I can do a lot of that now. It's tough but I know it can happen!

One thing that helped me was understanding time and that it is constant. If you're worried about a meeting you have at 1:00 and it's an hour long meeting, you need to understand that no matter what 2:00 is going to hit. Whether the meeting goes good or bad, 2:00 is going to happen and you will no longer be in that meeting. :))

I can’t wait for that notebook!! I’m so glad I saw this today, I’m stressed about my daughters graduation and I’m over thinking and doing all the wrong thinking. This whole morning I’ve been stressed. I had to go redo a blood test and was shaking about to panic but decided to try and write left handed and doodled a bit on the paper to occupy my thoughts. I totally forgot about the sigh, and I forgot that when you have big things that stress you out, you do things in segments of what stresses you out rather than look at it all together. Thanks for all the reminders and helpful tips! When is that notebook coming?!!

The breathing technique does help - think about when we are crying hard. We think we are "trying to catch our breathe" when we breathe those sharp inhales. After doing it a couple time, once we release the long exhale, we generally are able to calm ourselves down better.

I’m also dealing with anxiety in school and in public and I can’t really ignore it because I will meet these people every day for years. And going to the gym is also very hard because I feel like everyone is judging me because I’m a kid that is trying to hard. So basically would I love a video about tips for younger people, and maybe you could give tips about what you wished you knew when you where about 14-15 years old? I love you and your content, it has helped me a lot and I’m very grateful that I spot you on KZbin, TikTok and instagram❤
