Cool that you are testing the new memory speeds, exactly what I want to have an answer for! Looking forward to the full review :D The MSI board looks like the better for the money if even none of them are particulary cheap. But one thing that stood out from another reviews is the ASUS onboard sound that seems to be better then any other when it comes to noise levels and output gain. Maybe most not care about that but for that struggles with heavy driven headphones that's a big point!

Dual chipsets: x870e=x670e+usb4+wifi7 / Single chipset: x870=b650+PCIE5.0+m.2 Gen5+usb4+wifi7. x800s have insane VRM as well as heatsink which most people don't really need. Some have better audio chip or thicker PCB. x(b)600s and x(b)800s use the SAME chipset. I might be wrong but literally what they are.

It was just kind of "blah" after the original launch of 1000 series CPUs and 300 series motherboards were considered a pretty good platform. Now, after the 7000 series CPUs and 600 series motherboards were well received, the 9000 and 800 series are really nothing to be excited about.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm very dismayed, to say the least, at the amount of experimental AGESA updates Zen 4 (especially) owners get. It has all the hallmarks of engineers not understanding the systems they're working with, causing two problems for every one that they fix. I don't want to be updating BIOSes, at all really, but I've been forced to mass update them of late.
