It can actually be the opposite. Most of the time gluttony is caused by the feeling that you need to fill a void because of sadness or emptiness. If you were to create a beautiful masterpiece that you can eat you will notice that void is nowhere. Just seeing the dessert would leave you fulfilled and happy. Eating it might even be hard to do because you don't want to destroy it.
