Medusa got ruined by being Shinji’s master. If she had anyone else as a master, let alone a power house like Rin, she’d have won that whole thing except maybe against Berserker.

Basically the field reflects the person or people like rins being closed but shut in like how she has to be a magus and shirous place being more open and warm too. Remember Medusa used blood fort to save Sakura in her own stupid way somehow in ubw and fsn. It worked kinda so good job Medusa. Medea was probably my favorite in how powerful it was and nobody really talks about it. It held back Hercules with all her resources and keep kojurou summoned even after she was gone. Annoys me how easy it was removed in HF as lots of stuff was just ignored Tokioimi was cool pre Rin in the defenses it had for the barrier.

Nice to see you using the first Fate Stay Night material where Artoria used Avalon. This was my first FSN series and is still my all time fave. That battle with Gilgamesh was epic.

While that anime has some issues, that part is 100% canon to the Fate route in the visual novel.

@@otakudaikun Rider was my fave character from that series at first(even had her Figma figure) but Archer won me over after hearing "I AM THE BONE OF MY SWORD". The series deserves more respect than it gets since UBW came out.

It's possible the bounded field at Ryuudou temple is natural, I'm not super well versed in fate lore but the temple being on a lay line would be the primary cause. Much like how bubbles form when air interacts with water the mana from the leyline may simply be the result of it interacting with one or multiple force in the world. Be it spiritual prayer, the greater grail resting below the temple, how the cave structure around temple channeling the mana In a unique manner or the nearby lake. That's my crackpot theory on the matter at least.

You are correct. Places of ritual naturally create bounded fields that carry characteristics that are in line with the rituals within.

Excalibur actually has a number of bounded fields that seal it. I think this is stated in the VN when Saber opens all of them consecutively.

@@jkosch but I do know for a fact that neither version has actually opened all the seals yet...we know Arthur isn't doing it cause he will only do it once he finds the beast he is hunting, and Autoria's interlude is the first time any were opened for her(I'm pretty sure). And once they all open, Excalibur because a debug weapon that is just an "I win" button. Lol

@@someguy4405 Not necessarily. Rule breaker severs not only magical contracts but “all magic in the world” except noble phantasms. Reverting all magic and magical objects back to “the state they had before magic was applied”. So she could break bounded fields as long as they aren’t noble phantasms.

The Clocktower is found in a museum in england, not Big Ben itself. There is a incomprehensible amount of physical, mental, and illusionary bounded fields that keep normal humans who lack magus circuits and spiritual awareness, from entering the clocktower which is located underneath the museum. Well...technically most of london is ontop of Clocktower, as london was built upon "The grave of Albion" the cave system created by the Great Dragon, the source of the Pendragon name. It really depends on what you mean by "naturally", because phantasmals, Alaya, and Gaia, as well as divine spirits could all create bounded fields. But as far as I'm aware, they cannot be formed without a will.

That question is tricky. Most of the time the grail is just an imitation by mages for their ritual, but there is supposedly the genuine article out there. Since fate hardly confronts Christ, getting a more definitive answer is hard for me.
