Yes exactly!! Cook deserved effy way more than Freddie ever could. cook understood her In a way Freddie never could. I loved cook with effy and it broke my heart to see him go through what he did when he lost effy! He was in so much pain his best friend in love with the same girl he loved! He had to give her up because she didn't feel anything for cook. Not in the way he did! he could have given her so much love in the world if she would have just let him inside her heart. I know this video is quite old now but it's awesome! Their relationship brought so much to the series. I do disagree that Cook and Effy should have ended up together in the 4th series because I think the 3rd and 4th series were on point and they needed to make it Freffy rather than Ceffy to complete the love triangle they started in season 3 which was integral to the storyline but I do think as mentioned below it would have been a nice touch to show maybe Cook and Effy walking down the same street at the end of their individual episodes in series 7, to let us know they found each other. They were the best pairing of any couple on any TV series I can think of and they are brilliant characters (which are acted brilliantly). This video just shows what a phenomenal actor Jack O'connell is though!! Cook is one of if not, my favourite characters of all time and I'm not sure anyone could have done him justice the way he did. He makes you love, hate, admire, respect, judge and relate to the multifaceted character that is Cook all in one episode by acting with such conviction that you can really immerse yourself in the drama, it feels so real. Never related to any character as much as Cook, just wish I lived as hard as he did, we're only here once!!!!!
