I love everything about this zone, the aesthetic, the badniks, the platforming, and of course, the music. But for some reason, this is incredibly easy for me. I don't know why, I'm terrible at the rest of the game, (as terrible as you can be at sonic 2) but this zone is very easy for me.

This is the best Sonic The Hedgehog 1 ,2, 3 and Knuckles Lets Play ever. I have watched these videos muitple times in the past and they are still good to watch over and over again. Theres no way out of that Spike Pit Of Doom but i think there is only one guy who can get out and his name is Knuckles. During invincibility fall down and then climb back up. Obvously you will have connect Sonic The Hedgehog 2 cartridge to Sonic & Knuckles in order to do this though.

I hated this zone and Oil Ocean so much that I pretty much blocked them out apparently. I remember every other zone. Of course, despite it having been somewhere around 20 years since I played, I was fairly quickly able to remember special bonuses (and the pit). We played it a lot growing up.

There is a VERY EASY way to avoid the spike pit: Take the upper path. I always took the upper path because it's overall easier and I could never get past those six rotating crates on the lower path without being crushed.

It's hard but I did it. You just have to do everything yourself a couple moments in advance. That way, whatever rings you miss early Tails will pick up and not get hit by bombs.
