I came across KZbin channels like yours, by accident. I let things play in the background and things pop up. Appreciate and respect most of the topics spoken about. Gravitate to those I can relate to. Sense of humor is important. A place to be happy when most of the world is negative and puts down people for being who they are. Cool post 🤙

Whole heartedly agree with you, I tend to stay away form the "stereotypical gay" youtubers; not that there's anything wrong with it, they have a demographic they amassed and are leaning into. Just not my cup of tea. I tend to stick to matt and blue, wanting the idea of a family like theirs, husband/husband with kids.

Totally agree with you! So sick of us gay men being just perceived as people that sleep about, who are obsessed with sex, that's so not true! As you say what about the cuddles on the sofa, the days out together, watching movies holding hands, we are shown as just people who sleep about with no values, It really feeds into peoples misconceptions of who we are. My life is no different to any straight persons with regard to my values, my loyalty etc the only difference is I fancy men. Have a great day bud. Hope you're doing ok, was so sorry to hear about your twin - Stay strong ❤️

Hey Matt, wow, I agree with you on so many counts. I think the reason I’m single still is because I just can’t get behind the toxic urban gay scene. I mentioned it before that for some one who lives in the Los Angeles area, I feel like an outsider. My family is from Lyons, Kansas, so we were brought up with those very Midwest traditions. Even though I identify as gay, I’m much more traditional in my views of a modern gay relationship. Which is way I agreed with your choice of Matt and Blue, I love the natural flow they give off. Also, Zach and Alister Patton-Garcia. Followed them since Zack was in college and now I see they have changed their format in making videos. I love their relationship, and like to see them display their masculine side of playful fun with each other. These guys show others that there is another side to gay relationships. I can see where I would suggest to any young teen boy wrestling with gay thoughts to watch these videos. It’s bad enough that we, rather a lot of us are still trying to find our niche in what many view as a toxic lifestyle? It’s funny, I always liked Jack Merridow’s brother. When I first saw him, I nearly fell off the chair. And, you have come alone way too my friend. I always pull for you to find your partner, and it might be close? I’ve noticed recently you seem to be in a better place. You appear more relaxed and the smile is coming across very natural. I do know you had a few rough patches there, especially with your loss. I can’t put my finger on it but you just seem younger more vibrant. Hope that makes sense. The way I’ve seen it, in my own dealings with my sexual identity…I just would like a guy who is comfortable being a man and comfortable in liking other men without sacrificing his gender. I get it now, I love men. The large hands, holding on to each other. The heavy touch as his weight leans in on you. All those little things that men do that pretty much sums up our natural masculinity. Thank you for sharing this video and as always be safe and stay well. Alex from LA. 😊

1. Gay Men Going Deeper Podcast is really the future and set the bar for how all men should try to connect with each other. 2. Scooby1961 and Scott is the most underrated channel that was there since 2000s and is the OG channel for health with Scott. They give advice in a very conservative way for careers, airplanes, RVs, finances, software, engineering, military, and almost anything you can think of. 3. Ryan Dean Dexton and Just Joe Lee, give more material in terms of entrepreneur advice, cooking, and the workout videos for new representation of British Columbia Canadians. 4. Dustin and Burton is 5* conservative and wholesome in how they portray the family aspect of a 2 dad family. 5. Carson and Nate bring tears to my eyes and have perspective to nursing and bodybuilding. They just recovered a bit from COVID significantly impacting their life. 6. Dr. Elliot Carthy has lots of great reviews over LGBT movies, medical issues, and historical events in history as a psychiatrist in support of LGBT+. 7. Out Loud does with Jon and Brian contribute a lot of help for medical and paper writing. 8. Stepsof2Foreigners bring more attention to mental health, Brazil, making memories in life and bodybuilding. 9. Chris and Kei just started, but bring great points to career, race, country immigration. 10. Matthew J. Dempsey had a great time in having real conversations over meals as a psychotherapist. Not sure why he stopped though, it's sad. 11. Latter Gay Stories has some podcasts that are really helpful religiously and how to navigate challenging anti-lgbt mormon environments that give the same vibe as Gay Family values, but more structured. 12. Mike and Sebastian has the same vibe that Dustin and Burton have with their kids in Austria. 13. PJ and Thomas have the same style like Matt and Blue with house renovations and real estate I believe. 14. Erik Gruber and his husband are still new with military life. Very laid back. 15. "Jock Loves Nerd" was new, but I wish they continued to represent a very Apple biased and conservatively represent gay men. 16. Rob Anderson is very stereotypical with pseudoscience used for his comedy skits. 17. Max and Yos are still stereotypical, but have great perspective for mixed race couple in Canada.

Hey Matt, its good to see you again! I pretty much agree with you on all of the "gaytubers" you mentioned, although I'm really only familiar with less than half that you mentioned. I totally agree with you on Davey Wavey. That guy is the epitome of EVERTYTHING I hate about the gay community. He is truly a narcissist and all of his "friends" are the same. I have no interest in a channel that is centered on sex and the "beautiful people". I'm not just saying this, but you are my favorite "gaytuber" because you are real, and you talk about real experiences and feelings that us average guys can relate to. No BS, just honest stuff. These tubers that look like models and only hang out with their clones, are so superficial they freaking bore me to death! Hope to see you again soon, be well and be happy!

Ahhh...memories. I use to watch TerraNova Boys. What a beautiful couple there. Another gay couple I use to watch was Tyson and Bumble (aka: xHuskyBoyx, then retitled later on to: Tyson In This World). They were a married couple raising their cute huskies in a small apartment in the South. Yeah, they quit YT soon after they moved to Connecticut to be closer to their families. I definitely miss their channel. This was a great video, Matt. Happy New Year, BTW! 🎉

My favorite gay YT If I had to say Jacob Michael and Michael Henry. I like them both because they talk about issues with being gay and issues within the gay community that other people are afraid to touch upon. Michael does it through comedy which is hit and miss sometimes but overall his channel is funny and thought provoking. Jacob is very intelligent and more on the serious side. The way he talks about things and lay things out is very interesting in my opinion. His channel will definitely make you question yourself and the community at large which I enjoy more personally over high energy entertainment.

Agree completely. The world came to hate gay people because of the over-the-top accent on sex,sex,sex, in my opinion. I like sex. I wish there was just more about romance, intimacy and relationships in the gay community. It's often in TV and film where you either see very sexual gay characters or gay couples where they barely go near each. I have seen one or two recently that had couples holding hands, kissing or just hugging like you see every straight couple do. I did watch some of the guys you mentioned but stopped because there was just a lot of clickbait and gaybaiting. I love Husband & Husband and wish I could have a relationship like theirs.

Great opportunity with that list of yours. So here is my list of gay KZbin channels I have seen: Davey Wavey Matt & Blue AZB Steps of Two Foreigners There is a comedy skit channel that I look in on every once in a while but that’s roughly it. Your channel is the only other channel I really watch. I did find a list though since watching your video here and on the list are a couple interesting family channels I want to look in on. Your channel is on the list as well. I realize for me, the childish appearance of some of these KZbinrs, some of their topics and how they portray themselves is what really turns me away. I don’t feel comfortable with someone who looks like they are in high school trying to engage with me as an audience on sex and relationship drama. There is a gamer for example who always games shirtless. The first time I came across the channel it was Around Halloween so I didn’t think anything of it. But then it kept happening. And there really wasn’t much real dialogue. He was playing a game, shirtless, that I enjoyed but I realized despite the game, his channel really wasn’t for me. There were other gamers who played the game that I interacted with shirtless or not. (I am not there to ogle over a streamer being shirtless lol) Its honestly just a reflection of what I am trying to be improved by. That is what I tend to watch. Relating is good, and the casual humor is also good, but I guess I am at that point in my life where I value watching something that is edifying and something I can learn from. I am all about personal development, so channels that actually add to that physically, intellectually and spiritually in a candid practical way catch my attention. Thanks for sharing this Matt

Matt, by all means learn to play the guitar. I play keyboards and have for a long time. I sit down and play and the rest of the world is out of my mind. You will seldom find a more relaxing experience once you have learned a simple song or two. You CAN do it. It's a spiritual experience of sorts and will bring you into a new you. Baby don't miss this. Good luck. Oh, and as far as the old you is concerned and the old gay vids, piss on that. You are much more mature now and even better looking than you were years ago. God bless man. Later.

You’re my favourtie gaytuber Matt! 😍🥰 I enjoy watching you because you seem genuine. You’re not a caricature of yourself. You’re also pensive. 🤔 I’ve never thought about other “gaytubers” before until right now. I have heard of Davey Wavey - but never identified with him and what he does. I used to watch a young fellow name Phoenix, but he seems to be offline these days. I don’t think I’ve gravitated to gaytubers because none of them are like me. They’re all white and good looking. I noticed that your list is short on gaytubers who are persons of colour. I’ve always felt excluded in the gay community because, as a person of colour, I’m not seen as the “ideal gay man.” You have to be white to be desirable. Maybe that’s a topic for a future video? 🤔
@MattMoore832 жыл бұрын
They weren’t all white though. I also don’t consider them all good looking. But I will say the majority of KZbinrs I watch are white. I don’t think it’s a color of skin but a culture identify. I watch stuff that I can relate to mostly and that is it not based off the color of skin. Boogie is a straight gaming KZbinr Who is white. He grew up in Appalachia and I can relate to a lot of it is experiences because I grew up there. Zach Garcia isn’t white but I can relate to his gay experiences so that is why I watched him.
