To microwave the rice in it's tub, leave the lid on and just pop one corner so the pressure can escape. I do mine for 4 minutes. Being rice, it must be piping hot.

Those containers are useable in a microwave, just crack the seal and let the lid sit loose. It looks nice, even if im dubious about you getting the spiciest they had..

Bit pricey as there's less overheads than a take out. BTW just cook rice in container with lid slightly ajar👍

Shouldn't the meals be kept between 0-5° on the market stall. Especially the rice, according to NHS guidelines. Looked amazing BTW.
@EQINOX18710 ай бұрын
NHS guidelines lmao the NHS could not guide them self out of the public toilets much less provide good info and if it was up to them we would be eating lettuce and drinking water only. Rice is one of those misunderstood things that people buy all the scare crap and think it cant be stored and while it is best to cool it it actually is not needed ( when stored correctly ), sure if you store it over night in the rice cooker then that is bad but if you put it while it is still steamy hot into a good air tight container seal it it will actually last quite some time at room temp, the sides would not be an issue and the curry its self is also not an issue. key points of note he only has a few out at a time so obviously he has the rest in a fridge and so they are probably close to zero C which means they can last a few hours before they warm up past 5c and they will be sold long before that happens
@nigel849910 ай бұрын
@@EQINOX187I'm sorry, but I'd rather accept the NHS guidance with their medical expertise rather than a random stranger on the internet. If you don't trust the NHS you can always go Private.

You don't need to pierce the lids, keith. Just lift the lid to crack the seal and leave the lid loose. I would've microwaved it all, apart from the samosas, pakoras and bhajis. I thought the price was ok for good quality small batch home cooked food, mate👍

It did come to quiet a lot of money. comparing the volume of food vs cost against getting it fresh and hot at a takeaway. heating it up give additional cost as well as cleaning up Could not see the rice cost when you got it, but why bother if cooking at home just to make your own rice, 1kg for 52p version and add a spice to it.. spending £12 on just the little items like samosa's etc and £7 for each curries so £14 and rice £?? and you have the cost of the naan on top... so well over £30. you put the rice on the plate , can i have my plate back i have the same ones at home. I am sure you may be able to make some of it yourself.
