No different then went out in the field you’ve got to come up with some Bush style fixes to get things done more efficiently and save your back and effort for more important things! Follow along as I build a simple table but Decrease production time by almost in half! It cost me about $1.20! Teach your kids young a good skill set and common sense follows along and they can use that wherever they go in life.

Rob, It's always good to hear about your new project s. Why is it that some of your followers have to have a opinion about how you do your work. I do enjoy the opportunity to see the process that you do.

I used to think Tig Aluminum was the only way, then I got a spool gun and holy smokes what a time saver! With the right settings the spool gun does a super nice job on new aluminum like this. With a lot of these to do it would easily pay for itself.

I have used an old stub axle for a rotary table. Wheels on stubs and plate on the wheels for a flat work area. I have seen it where the stub axle is down with a plate for you to turn with your feet low, and riser to metal work table top, with a horn button style spring loaded ground under the foot disk.

Circles go on a lazy Susan in my shop. One of these days I've got to build a rotary table out of a pottery wheel with a variable speed motor. Nice job with the Hazard Fraut dollies! 👍 😃

Definitely man. Those little HF folding welding tables (clones of the StrongHand folding) are worth every penny. I think I have 4 or 5 of 'em, some even have wo..woooh.whoohd tops to make them general use tables. You can build this, you can build a ghetto indexer with some bearings and a windshield wiper motor and some offcuts. It ain't gotta be pretty with 0.0001tir, it just gotta spin. Gravity helping hands are super useful, built a few telescoping ones from 1" dom and 5/8" round with a t-handle / nut welded to set the length, tig brazed some silicon bronze on the tips and the toes of the 'feet', good to go. Easily one of the most useful things, so I don't know why people were talkin' about your spring clamp hands like they're a bad thing.. I was gonna make an aluminum-bronze tip for one of 'em to keep any copper contamination from sparking during initial arc on the ground helping, but like you I just end up throwing a small chunk of al between the hand and part anyhow. Good job. Those hf skates are quite good, but the hydraulic-lift kind.. I have not had good luck with them fwiw

People who say use C-Clamps like doing things the hard way. Also the huge pain with C-Clamps is if you want to clamp something to the table you can only clamp around the outside. Huge pain in the butt. Holes for clamps in the table are hugely handy. It’s is incredible how many people refuse to spend time and money making tools like you did with your strong arms that will help dramatically with jobs. Some people want to be able to do everything with a hammer and a screwdriver.

Suggestion, wouldn't be lest physical movement, if you welded half of the thread a let,("NIPPLE"), on each one, before turning to the opposite side, and then doing the other half at one time. I don't believe it will effect the welds any as your on thicker aluminum, and it does retain the heat better than if it was say 18 to 20 gauge material. That way you could use one foot on your pedal, and the other to slowly move the table left or right which ever is more comfortable for you. Then also you could make you a padded arm rest to lay your forearms on instead of trying to suspend them in the constant motion of moving the table as your going from side to side. Just a thought, that maybe hasn't crossed your mind, and that way if you're brackets are tacked on, you could do those at same time as your doing the nipples on that side too. Even slowing the video down I couldn't tell if you were doing the whole weld at once, are just half of it. Couldn't you adapt your clamps to a magnetic base that you can turn on and off when you need it. I know Starrett makes them for their different sized dail indicators.
