To be honest I've actually told my kids that if someone tries to grab them or they feel uncomfortable around a person if they don't think they can get away and I need to scream for help that they should also scream every customer they know because sometimes kids are just playing around in those scream for help when they're just being chased by a friend or something unimportant someone else might not pay attention to that or just assume they're playing but if someone hears a child yelling Every curse word that they know that's going to get your attention and eventually you're going to look especially if they're also yelling help me or something along with those words that are getting your attention LOL🤷♂️🤷♂️ my two boys both have birthdays coming up and they will be 10 and 7 years old soon, and I know they both already cuss around their friends and stuff I just tell them to make sure they don't do it around adults because I can't control what they do when I'm not around and I would rather that they don't use profanity because they have a bigger vocabulary than that but don't get caught doing it and I can't do nothing to you but if you get grabbed by stranger are in a dangerous situation go ahead and say every word you know along with screaming for help 💯💯💯🤷♂️🤣😂😭😆🤣😂

More often than not, it's someone known to the child and family, sadly in or trusted by the family, not a stranger in the park. Open honest communication with one's children and letting all adults &or older children that this type of abuse is not possible & communication is known to the children as one form of defence.

Howard Ino Incredibly frightening, sad and true. I was considered “overprotective “ as far as my son was concerned but I didn’t mind. At least I always knew where he was and that he was safe. He’s 24 now, married and a wonderful young man, and I still worry about him. A parents job is never done. ❤️🦋🙏
