If you live and daily your S550 like I do in the cold winters in Canada or areas in the US "DON'T" do any grille deletes! I ran into an old Ford video where they were testing these cars under harsh snow conditions and you do not want to see how much snow got into the CAI and other areas you don't snow to be in the engine compartment, there's a reason why the original grille is designed the way it is!

Are you saying the engine has the stock rods and 12:1 compression pistons (no forged internals) ? and it ran 9.34 and later ran 9.04 @ 152 with E85 fuel ??? How much boost is it making without blowing the stock engine.Those type of elapsed times in the 1/4 mile are incredible. What is the secret ?

The gen 3 coyote has a 12:1 compression ratio from the factory. We have been running the stock motor on E85 with the only upgrade to the engine being the Boundary oil pump gears and crank sprocket. A lot of the success running these times without failure comes down to the tuning (Lund Racing) and having a proper fuel system to safely support the power it makes. David Foster for our 9.36 run we were using the stock converter. Our 8.97@151 run was using the Circle D converter and helped us get a 1.32 60ft time.

It’s definitely a toss up. Some last forerver and some don’t. Lol. I actually got some pics of this car the other day. It’s now in Kuwait with a great customer of ours who purchased it. Still on the stock trans and motor (boundary OPG and sprocket upgrade only) and it’s running consistent 9.0’s. 🙌🙌

philistineau two 465s will support around the 1000rwhp mark on E85 with the proper injectors. However on the 18’s were not only feeding the port side the system is also designed to feed the DI pump. With that said I really can’t say how much that taxes the system capabilities but the 3rd pump is indeed there for safety as well as we do have plans to turn things up so having it there will give us some growing room.

It's been so long that I really can't remember. When I went 8.64@157 I believe it was with a 20% overdrive balancer and a 3.50" upper.

Great video...do you think the stage 2 Whipple fuel pump with the kit injectors is adequate? Also any major differences that you know between the preproduction gen 5 and the retail kits Jared? I have a flat top too..

If you go with the complete stage 2 kit from Whipple the drop in pump and the injectors they provide are more than adequate for what the kit makes out of the box and some. We made mid 700rwhp on that setup on 93 with some octane booster for added safety. For E85 you'll want a set of 1000cc or larger injectors and a fuel pump booster on top of that. If you want to go full send then a return system is what we'd recommend with some larger injectors. The only real differences between the pre production kits and the production ones are: 1. Production kit blower casing is more rounded instead of the flat top one in this video. 2. The intercooler core on the production kit has a little more volume and uses a thicker core than the pre-production one. Let us know if you have an other questions.

We had the slicks for when we were NA which worked real well for us so we used them on the blown setup as well. We're gonna switch it up though to some 3.15 gears and a set of the MT 305-45-17 ET Street R's before our next outing.

It'll be E85 compatible. Probably around 850whp.

Sick ride the coyote is the best 5.0 ever produced it dont take much to make it more powerful than a demon I'm creating a monster later on I'm putting a Triton v10 supercharged in a fox body 2800hp street legal with the magniride suspension it gonna be built mainly for a road course but itll be good on the quarter mile too a true multi purpose muscle car the target quarter mile speed will be 260+ mph it's definitely gonna be a real monster I'm naming it the hellfox just to tick off the dodge people I cant wait to start on it but one question will they offer a version of that supercharger for a Triton v10 or is it too soon to tell

I have decided to get a whipple for my 2019 mustang gt and I wanted to know what does the different sizes ribs do for your car as far as power goes? What is a ribs overall purpose for the supercharger?

The 10 rib kit will not add power per se, it is to eliminate any belt slip you may experience with smaller pulley sizes/more boost by adding more contact surface for the belt on the pulleys.

BigOG TT it was a typo. It should read “per say”. So the 10 rib kit doesn’t add power but at higher boost levels where the 6 rib setup starts to slip and loses boost the 10 rib will prevent that from happening.

How do you deal with the direct injection side of the fuel system?

The return style fuel system we installed feeds and regulates fuel pressure for the DI system with one regulator while another regulates the fuel for the port injection side. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
