@8:54 - "There is no proof that algorithms harm kids" - I don't know... my five-year old niece is addicted to those slightly questionable - oddball quasi-childrens show' channels on KZbin (these are a pretty recent trend, not to be confused with the older elsagate scandle) and the youtube recommendation algorithms seem to be nudging her more into those types of channels.

Yeah it's not hyper Inflation like Venezuela style, BUT that's how it starts and then it goes exponencial. One year it's 10%, the next 50, then 200 and then 10.000%

Use the metrics from pre 1980 that they used to calculate inflation and get back to me. Electric and gas have doubled for most of the country and groceries are up at least 25% if not more. On that end there is shrinkflation so you’re paying more for less. May not be hyper but it’s not far off. And I can tell exactly how you vote by how the original comment was worded.

Never assume it is either nefarious or stupid, the two go hand in hand. To be nefarious is to be socially stupid, and the only reason this still gets you reward instead of shunned off has to do mostly with endemic mass prevalent stupidity and corrupt government institutions that grow in such environment. See, many rush to blame establishment for the quality of the citizenry, but I think the relation is bi-directional - this is the "leadership" we "deserve". And it seems that improving the overall system is far more feasible by improving on our end than waiting on that particularly selected group to accomplish what it is systematically selected for its basic inability to accomplish.
